Part IX Chapter 2

3rd Pov

Scarlet got up from the blast Kasel threw at her. 

Scarlet: Ugh... What happened...? 

She made it to Orvel Kingdom is destroyed.

Scarlet: The Orvel Castle is... What about the people?!

Kasel appears behind her.

Scarlet: Who are you...?

Kasel pulls out his sword.

Scarlet: Why?! Why did you do this to our capital?

He rushed towards her and swing his sword. Scarlet blocked but was drawn back by Kasel's strength, and fell to her knees.

Scarlet: Kuh!

She quickly got up and battle Kasel. She swing her sword multiple times, but he is taking them like there is nothing. Kasel lifted his sword and slammed it releasing three blade beams and sent her flying back. Kasel jumped to impale her, but to be stopped by Chase's spear and kicked him back. Chase unleashed his rage and flames comes out of him.

Scarlet: Chase! You're... okay.

Chase: I protect Princess. I will kill you!!!

He ran towards Kasel and kept throwing more and more attacks, but Kasel created a barrier protecting himself from Chase's rage. Chase aimed his spear at Kasel and stab him, but he blocked it. Chase kept pushing more of his strength, almost cracking his shield. Kasel deactivated his shield and swing his sword, leaving a massive scar on Chase's chest and kicked him against a wall.

Scarlet: Impossible... How could anyone be this powerful? Why are you doing this?!

Before Kasel would attack Scarlet, Chase jumped in.

Chase: Princess! Watch out!

He blocked another attack from Kasel, then fall to his knees again.

Scarlet: Chase!

Chase got up with his power of rage releasing and attacks Kasel, but he blocks again. Chase kept throwing more attacks and try to break Kasel's barrier.

Chase: I protect... the one who gave my name...

He got knocked back and Kasel swings his sword over and over to kill Chase, but he is still standing.

Chase: I protect...

Kasel kicked him in the chest, knocking him away again. He stabbed the spear and hold his ground.

Scarlet: Enough! I'm fine! Just get back!

He gets back up and glares at Kasel.

Chase: I will, no matter what...

Flashback, Chases Pov

I woke up kneeling on in front of people.

??? #1: Yugo...

Chase: Huh?

Yugo: No! Why... Why... did Radi have to die?

??? #1: Yugo, it's not your fault... Yugo... my Yugo... I'm sorry...

Yugo: No! No... No... no... Erina...

??? #3: You are... too good of a young man to die. Go, live on... and comfort their souls. I truly hope that your sorrow does not become hatred... Don't worry. I will surely tell her about all of this... So, don't waste your life here. This terrible war all started from a misunderstanding. You should not blame the Princess for it.
