Part II Chapter 3

(Y/n) Pov

Once I got back to camp, I looked at the moon and see it's almost midnight. I put Selene down and start to treat her wounds. 

(Y/n):'Selene? What were you doing with the Monado?'

After treating her wounds, I put her bow aside and sit by the fire. I looked at the fire, thinking about the Telethia.

(Y/n): How did the Telethia get here? Didn't Shulk kill all of them? If there is gonna be more of these things, then I got to tell everyone about it...

Selene then regain consciousness, and gets up. I turned around walked over to her.

(Y/n): Hey, are you okay?

Selene didn't say anything. Instead, she walked up to me and hugged me, burying her head into my chest. I responded by hugging back. She began to cry as I rubbed her back.

Selene: I-I'm sorry...

(Y/n): Hey, don't blame yourself, it's okay.

Selene: No it's not, I almost had myself killed, took the Monado, and didn't even get someone to accompany me. I...I....

She doesn't know what to say as more of her tears rolled down her face, soaking into my shirt. 

(Y/n): Selene. Look at me...

Selene looks at me in the eyes. Her eyes are puffed and red, and her tears dried up, leaving tear marks on her face.

(Y/n): It's not your fault. You didn't know what was going to happen. I know it hurts to see those who will take the hit instead of you. I know that feeling. But you are safe, that's all that matters.

Selene: (Y/n)... Thank you...

(Y/n): You should get some rest Selene, we'll head to the harpy territory in the morning.

Selene: Okay then. Good night, Heir to the Monado.

(Y/n): Good night, Princess.

Selene lie down and went to sleep. I sat at the fire, and time fly by. I'm still awake, I mean, I did wake up from being knocked out. I heard Cassandra waking up and breaking the silence.

Cassandra: Hey (Y/n).

(Y/n): Cassandra, I got a question, what are you doing here?

She sat next to me.

Cassandra: I heard you were going somewhere so I want to come with you.

(Y/n): Casandra, I know you are trying to help me, but I don't want to get you killed.

Cassandra: Me neither, I can't just sit around and wait for you to die.

(Y/n): Fine, but don't you go dying on me.

Cassandra: Come on, when was the last time I called for help?

(Y/n): At a young age, you were trying to get some berries, but a wolf tried to attack you.

Cassandra: It wasn't that scary.

(Y/n): You were crying for help and I had to deal with an alpha.

Cassandra: But at least we get to spend time with each other after that.

(Y/n): Yeah, but still. 

Cassandra: Aww, are you worried about me? Fufufu~

(Y/n): Of course I'm worried about you, we have been childhood friends for a very long time.
