After farewells to their friends, Kasel and others are going to head to Gargoss.
Kasel: Ugh, Something smells.
Cassandra: I believe that we are near Gargoss.
Frey: There is a rumor that says even the land is rotting there.

They looked in his direction and see Malduk and Maria. They quickly jump behind some rocks and listen to their conversation.

Erze: Who is that?
Cassandra: Is that the Black Knight?
(Y/n): I assume so.
Maria: Black Knight? When...!!

Black Knight look at Maria with a glare, giving fears in Maria's eyes. The Black Knight cast a magic and prepare to kill her, then (Y/n)'s Visions told someone is about to take the hit. As the Black Knight struck the magic, Morrah jumped in the way and took the hit.
Morrah: Gaaauugghhh!
Maria: Morrah!!
(Y/n) was about to pull out REX but this weird feeling is preventing him from doing it.
(Y/n): 'What's going on? Why am I feeling this? What's the matter with me? This power...!'
Cleo: Ugh... Just looking at him is making my legs shake...!
Kasel: Guuggh...
(Y/n): Kasel?
He looked at all of the Monados and they are reacting suddenly.
Kasel: The Holy Sword is reacting in the direction of the Black Knight...!
The Holy Sword suddenly shrouded in darkness as the Monados were forced shut.
(Y/n): All of the Monados, they are reacting different.
Kasel: What's going on, (Y/n)?
(Y/n): I don't know.
