3rd Pov

As everyone was following Maria, Roi went closer to Kasel and whispered.

Roi: Kasel, do you have a moment?

Kasel: Yes?

As they said it, Kasel and Roi fell behind.

Roi: I've been trying to tell for a while, but I just couldn't find the right moments.

Kasel: What did you want to tell me?

Roi: Back at the Snowy Mountain, I...

Kasel: .....

Roi: I'm sorry, No matter how dire the situation was, I should act more carefully.

Kasel: Roi...

Roi: Please forgive me only apologizing now, after making you suffer through all that.

Kasel: .....You don't have to do that, Roi.

Roi: ....

Kasel: I was so flustered and confused at the time and I just can't get my mother out of my head after that day. Honestly, it's been so painful, that might be the reason why I've never brought it up, but I had a feeling you wanted to talk about this for a while, Roi.

Roi: Kasel, I knew I should have said something back then...

Kasel: No, I should be the one to apologize.

Everyone looked at him with a confused look.

Kasel: I knew that the others were also avoiding the subject. I knew that everyone's been suffering because of this. But I was afraid to talk about it, even when I knew that ignoring this would make things even more difficult for you all.

Frey: Kasel...

Kasel: Thank you for bringing up a difficult conversation and for apologizing first. You might think I'm weird for taking this calmly, but I decided to accept it. My mother already passed away when she sacrificed herself to get me out of that village during my childhood. So it's fine now.

Cleo: Kasel...

Kasel: You don't have to blame yourself. The bigger problem right now is him...

Roi: King Kyle...

Frey: Kasel's father...

Kasel: Back at Snow Mountain, I talked with Pavel about my mother. About what kind of person he knew her as... and her relationships with him. I learned some information, though they're in bits and pieces. He didn't tell me too many details. It seemed like he was hesitant to tell me some of the stories because of the truths we learned back at the volcano, and that's why I have a different view about her now.

Frey and Kasel looked at Morrah and Maria.

Cleo: You mean that woman? Maria?

Roi: She was one of the heroes that fought along side King Kyle... The Saintess of Brilliance. I'm really not sure whether or not she's actually the same person. But in the end, it is true that her actions have helped us out. What Malduk said really hit me hard. I can't believe she's done all that behind the scenes.

Cleo: I still don't like it! Did you forget already? She never gave us a straight answer and kept luring us into traps.

Kasel: Let's just wait it out. I'm sure she has her reasons. Frey?

Frey: Huh?

Kasel: What's wrong? You seem a bit out of it.

Frey: Ah, Was I?
