3rd Pov

After a month of that incident, Orvel might be destroyed but their defense has gotten stronger, orcs, elves and Mechons made the remaining Orvel Castle their home base, to protect the remaining survivors and fend off the Telethia, which are still roaming around. Egil and Gadolt are improving the army's firearms and armor by infusing their weapons with ether. They also improved the Mechon's armory and weapons by using ether and mana, thanks to the remaining spellcasters and mages. 

The Inn was destroyed, but luckily there was multiple shelter hidden in case of emergencies like these. In the shelter, there are many of people, but it isn't crowded. Maximum security on the shelters, thanks to the Orvel Knights with Mechon's armor. If there's anyone who needs to leave for anything, the guards will accompany them incase if anything will attack them.

Everything looks good, except for one thing. (Y/n) (L/n). After Clause's death and Kasel's departure, he hasn't been doing well. He barely ate anything and he couldn't lay his finger on the Monado's as well as not even looking at it. Cassandra walks in the shelter and sees (Y/n) sitting at the corner of the shelter, alone.

Cassandra: (Y/n)?

(Y/n): ....

She walks next to him and sits next to him. 

Cassandra: (Y/n), talk to me.

(Y/n): I don't know anymore... 

Cassandra: I know it's too sudden, but-

(Y/n): I've tried to help him, but he just walked away. We've been friends for nearly our entire lives. I don't know what to do anymore... 

She rest her arm over him and Erze walks into the shelter. She sees this and comforts (Y/n) by rubbing his back.

Erze: Are you still thinking about Kasel?

He nods and looks down.

Erze: (Y/n), you have been thinking about this for weeks...

(Y/n): I know, but...

Cassandra: I know it's more than just Kasel. What is it? Is it about Clause?

(Y/n) Pov

(Y/n): Sort of... Do you remember my past?

Cassandra: About you escaping (Hometown name)? Yeah, what about it?

(Y/n): When I escaped and left Radi behind, I felt so much regret for leaving him.

Erze: So when Kasel left you, you felt the same way?

(Y/n): Yeah... But when Malduk nearly killed you. I was so scared that I was gonna lose you.

Cassandra: (Y/n)... 

(Y/n):  Sighs  I'm sorry, but I need some time for myself.

Cassandra: You've always need time for yourself....

(Y/n): I'm sorry....

Erze and Cassandra give me a kiss on the cheek before leaving the shelter. I look at Cassandra and Erze and it hurts. I really do want their company, and it hurts seeing them leave. I drop my head low as I looks down in shame.

(Y/n): Dammit.... Again.... I didn't mean to push them away again...
