(Y/n) Pov

We made it out of the cave and we are searching for the others. I pulled out REX and examined it.

(Y/n):'This thing is weird, somehow REX can play the same role as the Monado. In the journal, after Shulk lost the Monado, he had the same blade as this. It doesn't play the same role for the arts, but for some reason, it acts like the Monado.'

Kasel: Still thinking how you can predict the future?

(Y/n): Huh? Oh, yeah.

Cleo: Don't worry about it. If there is something you don't like, just talk to us. It's no big deal, right?

(Y/n): Thanks, Cleo.

Cleo: No problem Bestie!

Frey: We can change the future with you on our side, don't let your fear get over you, okay?

(Y/n): I know.

Roi: Guys! Look! There's the frost giants! And there's Pavel!

(Y/n): We got to help him!

We rushed in and I side stepped the swing of the frost giant and switched the Monado to Enchant and cut its side. Before it would hit me, I blocked it and hold it out for a moment before Roi and Kasel jumps in and attacks killing them. My Vision showed me another giant is going to attack me from behind, so I gave Cleo a warning.

(Y/n): Cleo use your fire!

Cleo: On it!

She cast a fire magic and the Monado is still Enchant so I grabbed the fire balls and slam it on the Frost giant, but he blocked the attack. I threw an uppercut on it, stunning him. Pavel threw and icicle at the giant.

Roi: It seems we've dealt with most of them now. 

Kasel: Are you alright, Pavel?

Pavel: Are you Kasel... What about... Arlette...

(Y/n): I knocked her out, and Roi finished the job.

Roi: It was the only way...

Pavel: I see...

Kasel: How did mother... turn into an undead?

Pavel: She was killed by an undead, so it shouldn't came as a surprise. When I arrived at your village... she had already turned into one of them.

Kasel: You knew her?

Pavel: Around a hundred years ago... I sealed her in ice. Around that time... she was already pregnant with you.

He was shocked.

(Y/n): What? Are you serious...?

Kasel: That... that means...

Pavel: You should know your lineage now.

Kasel: .....

Cleo: Eh? What? What is this about?

(Y/n): He has the blood of Orvelian Royalty.

The others were shocked.

Kasel: I knew I was a descendant of Kyle...

Frey: But if that was a hundred years ago, wouldn't that mean.

Kasel: Yeah, I guess that makes me King Kyle's son. Is that true, Pavel?

Pavel: Yes, it is.

Kasel: Why did you seal my mother in ice? Did she do anything wrong?

Pavel: No, it was nothing to me. When she was giving up on life, I told her it would be fine after a good night's sleep.
