(Y/n) Pov

I woke up with Erze hugging with my head on her boobs, again. I slipped out of her grasp, but I failed.

Erze: Good morning (Y/n)~

(Y/n): I swear, I'm going to die from suffocation...

She lets go of me and pouts as I got up and prepare my weapons and think about what Alvis had said

Alvis: '...just believe what you must do. If you believe in it, then you will protect everyone with the future in your hands.'

(Y/n):'Believe what I must do...?'

???: Hey (Y/n)...

(Y/n): Hey Chase.

Chase: What were you doing last night?

(Y/n): I thought there was someone in the lake.

Erze: Were you sure?

(Y/n): I saw him with my own eyes, I even saw his reflection on the water

Cassandra: What did he look like?

(Y/n): The clouds were fogging him up, so I couldn't see him clearly.

Cassandra: Well, if he is there, try to tell us. We're here for you.

She kissed me and I wrapped one arm around her as she wrapped her arms around my neck. I pulled back, only for Erze to kiss me. After a couple of seconds, I pulled back and look at Chase.

Chase: Do you want me to wake up the others?

(Y/n): Yeah, we should. The Dark Lord is probably waiting for us.

As Chase woke up everyone, we were about to leave but Maria has stopped us and told everyone what she had told Kasel by the lake the night before. We were shocked by the truth, and couldn't find any words to say.

Clause: That's impossible.

Scarlet: Lua... abandoned her warrior?

Demia: And the Dark Lord is King Kyle, the one who saved us from the last Dark Lord?

Scarlet: I can't believe it, even though it's coming from someone who actually experienced it...

Clause: And... Kasel is King Kyle's... son? That means Kasel will have to fight his own father? Unbelievable

He walks over to Frey. 

Clause: Frey?

Frey: Ah, I'm sorry, I'm just a bit confused...

Roi: That's understandable.

Frey: Why would Lua...? 

Cleo: And the Dark Lord corrupted King Kyle's mind, right?

Roi: Doesn't that mean the same thing could happen to Kasel?

Cleo: Is it really even possible to stop that? Isn't it a bit dangerous to just go in recklessy?

Maria: He is unstable at the moment... Even if he was corrupted, he would still be unstable without the completed Holy Sword. We can't be sure if he would still be at the Dark Lord's Castle, but if he is there...

Demia: I doubt that. The imperial Army visits the place regularly.

(Y/n): Imperial Army?

Demia: They are digging up the artifacts of the Ancient Technomagic Kingdom.

Cleo: Doesn't this territory belong to the Kingdom? Are the Imperial Army allowed to be here?

Demia: It's right on the border with the Empire and above all, they have been visiting the place ever since we were busy trying to hide this place out of fear. We jumped into the scene for the dig later on, but we had to face a possible conflict against the Imperial Army.
