If by chance some day you're not feeling well and you should remember some silly thing I've said or done and it brings back a smile to your face or a chuckle to your heart, then my purpose as your clown has been fulfilled.
Red SkeltonI actually met him on my first day, however my nerves kept me from enjoying his antics. Seriously, the first day nerves really did quite a number on me.
Imagine seeing a random person walk in, greets everyone, goes to the water dispenser and say:
"Since you guys can't finish this, I have decided to finish it for you"
Then he proceed to drink as much water as he could. I was torn between disbelief and laughter. Who on earth was this human being? Is he for real? He was.
No matter how annoyed you are; by the time he is leaving, there would be a smile on your face.
The other day, walking in as usual, he announced he was displeased with his father. I thought it was such a weird topic to bring up in the office. It was a personal matter but then I am new maybe they share things like this easily.
When he was asked why, he replied that his father did not follow the footsteps of his grandfather who married three wives. Then placing his hand on his chest and looking solemn, he promised to continue his grandfather's legacy by doubling it and marrying six wives. In the same voice, he announced that all his brides were in this office.
You should have heard the laughter. Unbelievable! From that day, I decided I was going to take whatever he says with a pinch of salt.
He, however, does give good advice when he is in the mood. The few advice that he has dished out like; knowing when not to get into a Uber, knowing when a guy is serious or not and even knowing the right time to go to the repair shop to maximise quality and service has been quite useful.
He isn't such a bad office clown at all.
