"Happy Birthday to me! Happy birthday to me! Happy birthday, Happy Birthday! Happy birthday to me." I sang happy birthday by myself.

Nasa dining room ako at dito lang ang tanging may ilaw, may cake at madaming pag kain ang nasa lamesa.

"Happy birthday self." I cried.

I felt like a thousand knives are stabbing my heart. Hindi naman ito ang unang pag kakataon na mag isa akong mag celebrate ng birthday ko, pero paulit ulit akong nasasaktan. I wiped my tears nang may tumawag, its my parents.

"Hey sweetie! Happy happy birthday!" Mom and dad said in a chorus, Its a voicemail again.

"Sorry, you cannot celebrate it with us but always remember we love you and we are doing this for your future. I wish, I can see your face, now your sixteen, its been five years since I saw you... Happy birthday again! Enjoy your day! We love you so much." Natapos ang voice mail.

I cried and send a voice mail.

"Hi mom, dad, thank you very much, for the things that you've done for me and for my future, I'll be honest I'm not happy today, but still even I'm alone in my birthday, I'm celebrating it, cause being alone is not enough to be a reason not to celebrate it, happy birthday to my self, see you soon." My voice cracked.

I don't know how to get through this day. How can I celebrate it, alone.

I opened my facebook and its flooded with greetings. Somehow it made me feel little better.

Hi, Anya! Happy Birthday, sana na aalala mo pako!

Hey girl! Happy Birthday! Live long! Stay healthy.

Happy Birthday sana di na lumala saltik mo sa ulo.

Happy Birthday, makiki happy birthday nalang ako kahit di kita kilala! Yow!

Ha ha hatdog! Char! Happy Birthday!

I feel lighter pero di umaapoy, char! Gumaan ang pakiramdam ko, may mga taong di ko kilala na bumati sakin, kasi famous ako chos! I appreciate those people na kahit di ko naman sila ka close or di ko kilala bumati sila but still kulang cause I'm not contented char!

Lumabas ako at tumingala sa langit, I felt the wind's comforting sound, it felt like its hugging me. I closed my eyes and listened to the cold breeze's music.

"Hey, Diania!" Salubong sakin ni Cassandra my old schoolmate, dito din sya nag aaral pero mag kaiba kami ng course. Shes a dentistry and I'm a nursing.

"Hello, good morning, where's Kael?" Bati ko.

"Ah! Kasama yung mga boy friends nya." Sagot nya.

"Mamaya girl, sama ka samin sa mall bili! Treat ko! Belated birthday mo naman!"

"Ahkie, una nako." Sabj ko at pumunta sa una kong subject.

Ahrg! Ang sakit ng ulo ko! Like duh! Ikaw kaya titigan mo ng matagal yung cells ng isang tao baka di mo makita!

Nag hintay ako sa gate ng university nang makita ko ang car ni Cass, pumasok ako at nakita kong si Kael ang nag dradrivez

"Oh? Sasama ka? Mamaya ma bagot kalangz" alala kong tanong.

"Nah, kesa naman wala akong gawin." After months nag mature si Kael, hindi na sya yung taong nang babara.

"Okay, ikaw bahala." Sabi ko.

"Girl alam mo ba, may crush ako dun sa Captain ng Baseball team." Sabi ni Cass.

"Oh, tapos?" Bagot kong sabi.
