Peters POV:
After texting with Y/N, I had arrived back home with enough time to go out as Spider-Man for a bit.
I used my keys to unlock the apartment door, to find that May wasn't home yet. It was early, I guess. Her shifts usually end around 6:30pm. I left a note on the counter in the kitchen, informing May that I would probably be back around 9pm.
I changed into my suit and swung myself out the window. I had been Spider-Man for a whole year now, but I still didn't feel used to being him. Or uh being...me? I don't even know.
After a few minutes of waiting for something to happen, my 6th sense I gained told me something was wrong. I followed the feeling to an alleyway by Delmars. I immediately heard aggressive yelling.
I looked towards the direction of the yelling to see a girl, getting her head bashed up against a wall by a large man. I swung down to the front of the alley, to see the man had probably tried to rob her.
"You're going to fucking pay bitch!" he yelled.
"Woah dude. That's no way to talk to a lady," I told the man. He looked over at me in shock, and so did the girl. It hit me all at once.
The girl was Y/N!
I shot a web onto his arms and attached them to the other wall to get him away from her. As I was kicking his ass, I noticed she stopped moving. She had been awake before I moved the guy away from her. She must have passed out or something
When I finally had the man webbed to the side of the building, I ran over to Y/N as she was waking up. She looked real hurt and shaken up.
"Oh my god are you alright?!" I exclaimed as I helped to support her as she stood up.
"Yeah...thanks...you really just...wow you're awesome," she said, weakly. Shit, she could barely keep focus on anything, until I helped her up and she looked straight at my mask. Like, into my mask. It was as if she could see through to who I was. Suddenly, I heard the nearby sirens approaching.
"Here let's get away from here," I said, giving her a chance to hold on. When she didn't I stared at her. She was completely confused.
"What?" she asked.
"You gotta, here," I said not bothering to explain. I put her arms around my neck and she seemed to get the idea.
"Oh no you can't be serious," she said.
"It'll be fine just hold on," I told her as she wrapped her legs around me as well.
Just don't drop her. Oh my god, do not drop her.
I swung up to a buildings roof so that she would be safe from the chaos of police.
I set her down on the roof carefully, and inspected the damage. Surprisingly, there wasn't too much physical damage. Though, it was enough to knock her out temporarily.
"Are you alright? He hit your head pretty hard," I told her.
"Yeah, I felt that. I'm fine now, thanks. I think the pain is mostly worn off," she said, with a bit more structure to her words than before. I was relieved to hear that she seemed alright. For the time being.
"You need to be more careful," a serious tone came out of me. "A girl like you walking the streets alone...it can be very dangerous." I had been so worried for her safety, that now I knew she was okay, I needed to make sure it never happened again.
"Yeah yeah I know. But I can...usually handle myself," she reassured me. She was trying to be tough.
"You sure handled yourself great out there," I said sarcastically. She gave me a look.
