My phone buzzed and I sat up to read it. Happy texted me saying he was outside.

"Oh my uncle is here to pick me up," I said, standing up.

"Alright, I'll walk you out," Peter said, holding the door open.

"Peter I can take care of myself for one minute," I said, walking through the door.

"Really? Cause you haven't really proven that you can," he said beside me.

"...well I will! And when I do I won't need your help," I told him. He just chuckled.

"Yeah, you can't get rid of me that easily," he said. I laughed.

We walked out to Happy's car and I got in, giving a final smile to Peter. He returned it. I got in the car as Happy started to pull away.

"You have fun, kid?" he asked.

"Um...yeah. I guess it was a fun 'one time only' thing," I admitted. I still couldn't believe how I had gotten away with keeping the secrets about every time I was in danger over the past few days. I would need to keep it up, however, if I wanted to keep my normal life.

"I guess you aren't your father's daughter in that area," Happy said, laughing. I laughed too.

"I guess not," I said.

I arrived in the living room when I saw my dad and Steve talking about something.

"...you always say how you want to keep her safe, and you let her go to a party?!" Steve yelled.

"I need to give her some independence Cap, plus she's got Peter with her," he said. They both looked over at me as I walked in.

"Oh hey honey? How was the party?" dad asked. I shrugged.

"It was fun while it lasted, but I don't think I'll be going to any more," I admitted. Steve looked pleased, and my dad looked surprised.

"Well, I guess you don't get that from me," he said, taking a sip from what I was assuming was scotch.

"Good. Parties are dangerous for you," Steve said, hugging me.

I walked to my room and closed the door. Locking it, I opened my secret door that led to my secret laboratory for creating techs

"Friday? Can you bring up all my drafts for file 108?" I asked.

"Bring up file 108," she said as an image appeared on my wall. Oh wait. Shit. I left the prototype at the apartment.

"Oh, uh. Friday? Let's uh table this for now, and where is my dad?" I asked.

"Your father is currently in his bedroom," she said. Perfect.

I never snuck out before, but for some reason, I couldn't just wait to get the web shooter back. But, how would I get there? I shouldn't walk there. I don't want to call a cab, it could be dangerous. Then, I got an idea.

Since my suit wasn't ready to be used, I snuck downstairs into my dad's workspace, and peeked around at his suits. He would flip if he knew I was in here unauthorized. But, I remember seeing that one of his demo suits didn't work like the others. He didn't install a tracking device or alert if it was activated, no security cameras, and it didn't use a lot of his weaponized features either. Mostly, just a party trick/flight suit. Perfect. That's all I needed.

The measurements were meant to fit my dad and/or Pepper, so it would be a bit big on me. I carefully moved the suit away from its display, and towards the exit in his workspace that he only used for his suits. I inspected the exterior of the suit and quickly figured out how to operate it. I pushed a few buttons and saw it light up. Felt like Christmas.

I smiled and pushed a button that allowed the suit to open. I took a deep breath and climbed into it, adjusting myself properly into the suit. I was amazed at all the technology inside. For a demo, it was incredible. I closed the suit and tried to move around quietly.

The movements were weird at first. But I had to figure out how to fly. I inspected more of the inside tech to find that to fly I had to use the jet boots and the repulsor rays built into the gauntlets for stabilization. Easy enough. I did a mini test, and flew a couple inches off the ground.

"Wow," I breathed. It felt easy. Thankfully because I didn't have much time to get the web shooter. I opened the exit door and flew out.

"WOOOOO," I yelled out of pure delight as I flew into the air. Then, I remembered that Friday should be installed in there.

"Friday?" I asked. No response. Oh right, she didn't exist yet. I paused a moment.

"Jarvis?" I asked. The suits insides lit up a bit.

"Hello there," the suit said. I was stunned. I thought Jarvis...well...wasn't himself anymore. I guess it's possible a prototype Jarvis was saved onto this suit.

"Um, hi. I'm Y/N Stark and I need directions to an apartment in Queens that my dad-Tony Stark uh bought recently," I asked.

"Welcome Y/N Stark. Your father had always hoped you would use these suits when you were older. Setting course for 1837 Sunsdale Apartments," he said. I smiled.

Suddenly, the suit was taken over by an autopilot that was taking control and moving towards the opposite direction.

After a few minutes, Jarvis said,

"Arriving at 1837 Sunsdale Apartments."

I drove the suit up to the roof, and turned off the flight.

"Jarvis, open the suit, then lock it down until I come back. Don't let anyone move it except me," I said, before exiting the suit.

I climbed down the fire escape to my room's window. I opened it slowly and climbed in.

I searched the whole apartment for the web shooter and couldn't find it. Great. This trip was now for nothing. I double checked before leaving the apartment and climbing back into the suit.
