Peter and I walked back towards his apartment.
"Y/N I insist!" Peter said, after I told him my dad would be late picking me up, so he should just head inside.
"Peter I swear I'll be okay. It's cold and you should go inside before May gets worried. I'll be fine I promise," I said, kissing his cheek to stop him from worrying.
"Goodnight," I told him, smiling. Peter blushed, but still looked determined.
"...alright fine. But please, be careful," he said before heading back inside, rather quickly.
When the coast was clear, I ran to the alleyway where I hid the web shooter. Thankfully, it was still there. I pulled it out from under the dumpster, and inspected to make sure nothing was tampered with. As I looked up from my web shooters, of course, I saw a familiar red mask staring back at me.
"Oh my god! You scared me," I told him, shoving the web shooter in my pocket. He didn't seem to see it.
"Second time I've found you in an alleyway. Are you trying to get yourself in trouble?" he asked. I got up.
"Maybe, so then I can beat anyone up who tries to give me trouble," I said, smiling.
"Oh really? You can defend yourself?" he asked. I guess I seemed pretty defenseless to him. I wasn't. Spider-Man looked away from me for a moment.
"Yeah actually I'm pretty good..." I said while trying to catch him off guard by throwing a punch towards him. Before I could finish my sentence, he grabbed my wrist before it hit him, without even looking towards it. I froze, trying to get my wrist free. He turned back towards me.
"Nice try," he whispered. I gasped. I felt something between us. Some...feeling. I couldn't look away from him. He broke away and let go of my wrist.
"Do you need a way home?" he asked.
"Uh...y-yeah. Why not?" I said, figuring he would just take me to my apartment, from which then I could web shoot to my actual home, without Spidey here being all protective and not actually knowing where I live. Plus, I could check again for my lost original web shooter. It has to be in the apartment...right?
"Alright. Same place as before?" he asked, as I grabbed onto him.
"Yep!" I said, as he started slinging us towards my apartment. I clung to him, as I watched the city go by in a flash of lights.
"You do this so easily!" I exclaimed.
"Lots of practice!" he said back. Right, of course. Practice. Something I didn't have a lot of.
We made it to my apartment, and he put me down on the fire escape that led right to my bedroom.
"You remembered!" I said, surprised. He chuckled.
"Of course! Can you get in?" he asked, looking towards the window.
"Yep! I always leave it unlocked," I mentioned.
"Okay then. Have a good night Y/N and don't use that web shooter I saw you holding," he said, swinging away. Damn. He did see it.
I climbed into the apartment and just stood there, smiling. I bit my thumb nail thinking about Spider-Man. He was...amazing. It's not like I just realized this, cause I had always known that. But, it really feels like I know him. Except, I guess I don't.
Just then, I heard tapping coming from my window. I turned back around to see that dork's masked face, but he was upside down. I opened the window, and upon further inspection, saw that he was hanging from the upper part of the fire escape. I scoffed at the sight of him.
