Peter's POV:

We walked the rest of the way to my apartment, but Y/N had yet to try the sandwich.

"Still on the fence about it, huh?" I asked, mouth full of my sandwich.

"What if I don't like it?" she asked.

"Oh, just eat it! I'll eat the rest if you hate it," I told her, smiling.

"But then I'll be hungry, and you will have had 2 sandwiches. That doesn't seem fair," she laughed. God, she was cute.

"Alright fine. I'll make you another sandwich when we get home. But, there is no point in making future plans when you haven't even tried it," I reminded, as our playful banter went on.

She took a bite out of the sandwich, and stopped.

"That's...."

"What?" I asked eagerly.

"The best damn sandwich I've ever had," Y/N said, covering her mouth with her hand.

"See? I was right," I bragged.

"Fine, you win this one Parker. But I win too because I get food out of it." She smiled and took another bite. I smiled and bit my lip.

I felt a raindrop on my head and looked up.
Y/N followed my gaze to the sky, as it started to rain.

"Shit!" she screamed, laughing as she ran. I noticed she wasn't wearing much protection against the cold.

"Y/N wait, here wear this," I said, taking off my sweater. I draped it across her shoulder as she protested.

"No Peter, then you'll be cold and I don't want you to be cold, and you could catch a cold and die," she kept arguing.

"I'll be fine, really. It would make me feel a lot better knowing that you aren't cold," I said, looking into her beautiful eyes. She looked away, blushing.

"Ok but let's hurry!" she said before taking off in a sprint. She didn't get very far before she slipped from the wet concrete.

I ran over in time to catch her before she fell to the ground.

"Oh my god, you okay?" I said concerned, but laughing. She laughed as well.

"Yeah. I guess I shouldn't run in the rain," she laughed, while I put her back on her feet.

"Alright now lets briskly WALK back to my place," I said, making sure to emphasize the 'walk'.

We soon arrived at my apartment. I unlocked the door and held it open for Y/N as she walked in, soaked. I called out to May, but she wasn't home. I figured that was better, since she would probably scare Y/N away with her questions.

"Uh, I guess my aunt isn't home. She would have loved meeting you though," I told Y/N. She looked around.

"This place is so welcoming! I love it!" she exclaimed. I smiled and bit my lip.

I had forgotten how wet we both were from the rain, so I ran to my room to grab some clothes, leaving Y/N confused. I dug through my closet for my Midtown navy blue sweatshirt for her. I then ran to May's room to find some old pajama shorts. I came back out to see her trying to dry off my sweater.

"Here. You can go change into these in the bathroom," I said, tossing the clothes to her.

"Thanks," she said smiling. I loved her smile.

I went to my room to change into some new clothes, and came back out. I waited for a few minutes, until I heard the bathroom door open. I turned to see Y/N looking perfect in my oversized sweatshirt and May's shorts. She noticed me staring.

"Whatcha looking at Peter?" she joked. I felt myself start to turn red.

"Uh...I...uh....nothing! I was just..."

"I'm kidding," she said quickly as she walked passed me. She shoved me a bit.

"Oh," I said stupidly. "Hey, uh, do you...uh....wanna watch, a movie or s-something?" I stuttered.

"Sure! What movie?" she asked, heading towards the couch.

"You like Star Wars?" I asked, hoping she wouldn't think I was some nerd.

"I LOVE STAR WARS!" she replied, very enthusiastically. I beamed.

"Alright then we can watch Star Wars," I said, pulling out the 5th movie, The Empire Strikes Back.
