I leave the house riding my bike to the fimilar path. I ride through the woods during the time of day right before sunset. I see the sun glimmer through the branches and leaves that surround me. The sounds of nature give off a gentle hum that rings through my ears. I finally get through the woods and I'm greeted by a hill side all to myself. Wild flowers grow randomly in the sweet green gass. I set my bike down and sit on the hill, marveling in all that's around me. The sun turns my chocolate brown eyes into honey orbs. I smile as I watch my friend slowly disappear again, only to be replaced by my other friend. The stars start crawling back out. The moon shines down on me, giving me a luminous glow. Fireflies around me. I catch one in my hand and it stays. I stand up again and ride back home with me firefly perched on my shoulder. Before I go inside I say goodbye to the firefly and watch it float off again to be with it's friends.
