It was a normal day in the Salbizummus Sanctuary.
Sal·biz·um·mus Sanc·tu·ary
/Sall-bizz-uhm-miss Sank-chu-ary/
noun
A super awesome, weird, chaotic, place full of six crackheaded people in all of their nonsensical glory.
Better than the Hype House.
Emilia had just gotten home from the nearest grocery store and was dancing in the kitchen, cooking some salmon.
KJ was in her bedroom, vibing to sad music under her rainbow lights.
Scout sat in the living room, trying to explain her favorite musicals to Ramisa, who was far too invested in her bowl of Lucky Charms to care.
Owyn and Katelyn were in the ballpit, exchanging random facts.
"I'm bored." Owyn sighed, pulling out a bean bag chair from the depths of the ballpit.
"Me too, Muffin, me too." Katelyn nodded, deep in thought as Owyn unzipped the beanbag chair and pulled out a mango. "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"
"I'm never thinking what you're thinking." she laughed, opening the mango to find a coin. "Yes! My lucky penny!"
"Why do y- nevermind." Katelyn shook her head. "You wanna go bug the fearsome foursome?"
"I still prefer ancients, but sure." Owyn smirked. "Let's go."
Together, they swam to the very bottom of the ball pit, passing by two dolphins, a Ramisa clone watching horror films and eating a chocolate bar, and an avocado, until they found the reverse slide that led them upwards instead of down.
"Password?" Yolanda the Walrus guard asked, standing stiffly in front of the slide's opening.
"The password is," Katelyn began, leaning in closer to whisper into Yolanda's ear. "Pandas don't like macaroni."
"You may enter." Yolanda nodded, stepping aside.
"Yeet!" Owyn exclaimed, following her friend up the slide.
Once they made it to the main floor of the house, they stopped in front of the giant bookcase, pulling down Goodnight Moon, and watched as the bookcase shifted into a secret doorway.
They went inside and walked through the hallway, passing by the Salbizummus gallery (which consisted of the many screenshots and saved images they sent each other in their chaotic group chat) and a diorama of a hummus factory.
They made their way to KJ's room, knocking on the door before waiting for the older girl's response.
"Come in!"
"Henlo, Bunny." Katelyn waved, as the two youngest walked inside.
"Hey, Cupcake, hey Muffin." KJ greeted. "What's up?"
"Well," Owyn began. "We're bored. So you wanna go on an adventure?"
"Duh." KJ said, getting out of her comfortable bed. She spun around and her previous clothes reappeared as a purple onesie. "But 3 AM adventures are much more enjoyable."
"You thinking what I'm thinking?"
"For the last time, Cuppy." Oywn laughed. "No one's ever thinking what you're thinking. That's far too complicated."
"That's not true," Katelyn began. "Wattpad gives Nugget and I the ability to be telepathically connected. Sometimes we even have the same brain. And don't forget about those times in the group chat when we're all telepathically connected to each other."
