Rain Taught Me
I love the rain,
It washes away my painWhen I feel the need to cry,
It cries with me and cover up my tears along with the sky,
Walking in the rain like I'm walking with my friend,
It listens and understandsRain comes at the perfect timing,
It would always be there and save me
When I'm starting to be failing
A battle that I'm alone facingRain taught me a lot of things
Rain taught me to not hold down my feelings,
It'll be there and cover up the sounds of my feelings
From sniffling or laughter to shouting and screamingRain taught me a lot of things
Rain taught me to reduce my ego,
It shows the happiness and relief if I choose to let go,
Rain taught me to not always feel the need to control
Surrender everything, take risk, and just let yourself fallBy falling, it shows me to live in the moment and let myself free,
From every thought that brings up anxiety,
To things that keep me up from 8 till 3Rain taught me a lot of things
Rain taught me everything needs process,
Even rain transformed itself by process,
So why would I think too much and make my own stress?
I just need to believe in myself and do my bestRain taught me a lot of things
Rain taught me that I don't need to stress when nobody likes me,
Even rain itself isn't liked by everyone,
But rain keeps being itself,
It chooses to keep bringing smiles to anyone elseAnd so rain taught me
Some people may not like me,
But I need to keep true to myself and keep being me,
Because I know there would be at least someone who will accept me ( even when that someone will only just be me)With my friend rain I feel free
From all of this cruel reality,
But I know it won't last long,
As my friend needs to go back to its process and make others happyBefore I completely go back to reality,
I look up to the sky,
The remaining droplets kiss my skin
As I smile, I say goodbye
To my dear friend that saves me and gives me a hope to winAnd now I realized I've been writing on this cardboard box,
Didn't even notice how long the time passed on the clocksEven though I'm writing nonsense, I'm feeling relieved as I finally got a chance
To pour out my thoughts and words with my hands and pens,
About the mighty rain, one of my favorite friends____________________________________
I wanna draw on the cardboard box (don't ask why cardboard box, i found it on the floor) but idk how it turned to words.
I always skip the poetry or writing parts on my school subjects so idk if this is how u write things and thoughts or not.
