The next seven days in hospital went somewhat like this.
Whenever Yash would come to the hospital to meet Natasha, he would always find Abir there. Even he didn't know why, but it would make him very angry and uncomfortable.
He tried to talk to Natasha alone but there was not a single opportunity to do so. If Sarah would see Yash near Natasha, she wouldn't leave them alone even for a second.
During these days, Sarah tried to learn what actually happened on that day. But each time, Natasha answered the same. Being frustrated, she stopped asking Natasha.
Seeing Abir more often at the hospital, Natasha's mother decided to have a conversation with Natasha.
"Abir is a very good boy. In fact he helped us lot since last few days. But don't you think, he spends too much time here?"
Natasha looked at her mother, "What are you trying to imply, mom?"
"Listen baby, it is clear that Abir's behaviour is a little too much to be taken as mere colleague affection. I just hope, this doesn't create a problem between Yash and you."
Natasha took a deep breath and said, "Between Yash and me? There is nothing between me and Yash, mom. There never was actually . "
Mrs. Khanna got totally shocked hearing her daughter, "What are you saying Natasha? Please don't joke about this matter."
Natasha smirked at her mother's statement, "I'm not joking mom. Yash and I aren't together."
"But you told me that you love him!!"
"Yes, I do love him. But he doesn't love me. He loves someone else. He told his dad about her and his dad confused her with me." Natasha sighed.
"Is it the same girl who came to see you?"
Natasha being even more shocked, "How do you know, mom?"
Mrs. Khanna started crying, "I should have understood before. O my poor baby! You've gone through a lot! Even I have put pressure on you."
She kissed Natasha on head and said, "Now I have no problem Abir staying here. In fact I'm happy that someone finally knows your value."
"Mom!!"
"What? I'm not putting any pressure on you. But I think you should give it a consideration."
Natasha didn't tell her mother but she too had realised that Abir had started to develop feelings for her. But she wanted to escape from that truth. Specially after all these occurrences.
During these 7 days, Suhana tried to talk to Yash but he avoided her most of the times.
After office, Yash came home. As he entered into the house he heard laughing sounds from his father's room. Yash peeked through the door and guess what!!
Abir was sitting beside his dad. Yash grinded his teeth and with very difficulty he managed to bring smile on his lips. His Dad looked at him,
"Hey Yash, look Dr. Abir is here. I didn't know that Natasha told him to visit me."
Yash sighed, -" Yeah, yeah. I completely forgot. "
Abir smiled and patted Yash's shoulder, "Okay, so I should take a leave now. Hey buddy, I'll see you tomorrow."
Yash knitted his eyebrows, "Wait, do you two have session tomorrow also?"
"No!!! Tomorrow the doctors are releasing Natasha. So I was talking about seeing you at hospital. Did you forget?"
"No, why would I forget??" Yash replied in a defensive manner.
After Abir's leaving, his dad said, "Such a cheerful young man, I really liked him."
Curving his face, Yash said, "Fine, then adopt him!!"
