One thing had become quite regular lately. That was, Yash's coming to Natasha's house secretly at night. No matter for how long they met each other during the day, if Natasha had the next day off or the next day was Sunday, Yash would surely come.
Yash no longer had to call Natasha to open the door. She understood as soon as there was a knock on the balcony door at 12 o'clock that night when he was supposed to come. And strictly at five o'clock in the morning he left. Natasha remained sleeping at that time most of the days.
In this way, they had watched a number of series and movies together. Natasha often cooked various dishes for Yash. A few things of Yash were kept in the washroom. Also, some of his T-shirts and pants were in Natasha's drawers.
They were now like an unofficial married couple. On other nights of the week, Yash was wondering how much better it would be if he stayed with Natasha now. It had become a habit of him. But sometimes Natasha had a night shift so she couldn't feel it as much as Yash did.
Tonight was their movie night. A bowl full of popcorn, chocolate and some diet cokes were ready. Then Natasha was just waiting for Yash. It was 5 minutes past 12 o'clock at night and then there was a knock at the balcony door. Natasha went very slowly and opened the door.
After they got settled, Natasha was about to play the movie. Suddenly there was a knock on her bedroom front door. Both Yash and Natasha looked at each other in horror. From outside, Nat's mom called out, "Natasha, baby, can you open the door please?"
Natasha looked at Yash in panic and said, "You hide in the washroom. No, no, wait.What if mom goes in the washroom for any reason? You get under the bed."
Yash got surprised and said, " What are you saying? How can I get under the bed with this body of mine?"
"Just get in Yash!! Just get in." Natasha said.
Just then there was a knock on the door again. "Baby? Are you asleep dear?"
Natasha looked towards the door and said in a loud voice, "No mom, coming. "
Then she rolled her eyes towards Yash and Yash, like a good little school kid, got under the bed.
She got up and checked whether he was visible or not. But everything was okay. She opened the door and her mom entered. "What took you so long dear?", her mom asked.
"Many things were scattered on the bed, mom. I just picked them and kept them in the right place.", Natasha nervously smiled.
Yash under the bed, understood that Natasha was refering to him.
Her mom came forward and sat on the bed. "Come'on, sit down." She told Natasha.
Natasha sat down. She was trying to be at ease but failed to do so. "So, mom? Is dad asleep?" she asked.
Her mom adjusted herself on the bed and sat over Yash's phone. Natasha noticed that she had forgotten to hide his phone. What if it rang? What if mom found out? Her heart was about to come out of her mouth.
" Yes, your dad is asleep. I was about to sleep also but suddenly I felt pain in my ankle. I thought if you are awake, may be I can show it to you.", Her mom lifted her ankle to the bed.
Natasha got anxious, "Really? Let me see once." Natasha began to examine the source of the pain.
"You know, baby, last week I went to attend a baby shower."
Natasha lifted her eyes to look at her mom. Her mom continued, "It was so beautiful, Natasha. The pregnant girl was glowing. Each time I was looking at her, I was imagining you."
Natasha got really embarassed, specially when Yash was right here. She tried to stop her mom. "Mom!!!"

"What? Why are you reacting like this? You and Yash are gonna get married and eventually you're gonna start family. It's normal. ", her mom replied.
Yash smiled under the bed, hearing this.

Natasha's cheeks were burning in shyness. "Can we please not talk about this mom?", Natasha complained.
Her mom looked around and saw the popcorn bowl. "Fine. Are you watching a movie? Which movie are you planning to watch? ", she got little excited.
Yash doubted that Nat's mom was staying for the movie. He lifted his head and got hit by the lower side of the bed. He silently groaned in pain.
Natasha knew her mom hated horror movie so she said, "The curse of a zombie. Yeah, that's the movie."

Her mom looked disgusted, "I don't understand, what fun you guys get by watching these ridiculous movies."
Natasha teaesed her mom, "Come, watch this with me, mom."
"No thank you, I'm going to sleep. Good night.", her mom left.
Natasha wished her mom good night and closed the door. She ran towards Yash. "Are you okay, Yash?"
Yash looked at her and said, -"Curse of a zombie? Seriously? Does this movie even exist?"
Natasha smiled, "I don't know. It just came in my head and I said it. God!! I'm so relieved that mom didn't notice anything. "
"Yeah. Everything was good. Specially the baby shower part.", Yash teased Natasha.
Natasha hit him on his arms, "Now you don't start to tease me."
"I'm not teasing you. I'm also imagining you, at our baby shower. You are glowing and you..."
Before Yash could tease her more, Natasha started to continuously hit him and as a result they fell on the bed. After lots of hitting, tickling, teasing they finally started their movie night.
