Natasha had joined hospital again, almost after three months. And she had officially began her relationship experiment with Abir.
To be honest, it was getting little difficult for her. Sometimes she didn't understand what Abir was expecting from her. Should she send him a 'Good morning' text or not, inform him before sleeping or not, these were the things that weren't coming from her spontaneously. She called Sarah asked her for some advice from time to time. Natasha and Abir also went on a date together.
Abir was also sometimes extra friendly at the hospital. Other staffs and colleagues had started to give them a look and smiled at them. Natasha didn't really like these things. She could sense the gossip in the air. But she couldn't tell Abir also. It might offend him.
The lunch break was over so, Natasha was returning to her cabin to look at some reports. She got a call and it was from Yash's dad. Natasha got worried if everything was alright, "Hello uncle. Is everything alright?"
-"Everything should not be alright. Because when I was sick, you used to come to see me. But now you seem to completely forget your old father. "
Natasha bit her tongue, "Not at all uncle. What are you saying? I've recently joined work again. So, there are lots of pending works. That's all."
"I don't want to hear these things, girl. Now listen to me, I have arranged a dinner at my house on Saturday night. It is just your parents and some of my other old friends.You must come. I have already told your parents but now I'm telling you personally. "
"But uncle, it's your get together, you and your friends. What will I do there?"
"No, I won't hear that. You must come."
"Okay fine."
"That's a good girl."
On Saturday, Abir had a night shift but Natasha didn't. Also she needed to attend the dinner. She couldn't decide what to wear. There would be all elderly people so she needed to wear something traditional.

Natasha got ready and reached there with her parents. She was praying in her mind that Yash was not at home. But when she entered into the living room, first one she bumped into was Yash.
Yash looked at Natasha. Natasha felt little awkward as she felt Yash was staring at her.
Yash was literally staring at her, admiring her beauty. He remembered his father's saying, "You were too busy with pebbles that you didn't notice the real gem around you."
Natasha moved away from there and went to meet Mahesh uncle and others. There were 6 or 7 people in total. They talked to Natasha on various matters even about her marriage.
Then another old friend of them arrived. Blood drained out of Natasha's face. The same old confrontation, the same old horror after so many years.
Mr. David Mascarenhas looked at everyone and said, "Sorry I'm late."
Then he met all his friends. Yash's dad introduced Yash to him. Finally his eyes fell on Natasha. Natasha's dad introduced her to him. "Oh my little baby girl! You've become so big and so beautiful. "
They began to talk to one another and Natasha excused herself in order to go to the washroom. Yash noticed something wrong with Natasha. He followed her and found her crying.
Yash asked her but Natasha tried to hide but failed. Yash took her upstairs to his room so that he can know about it.
"What are you not telling me Nat?"
Natasha sobbed, "Yash, please leave me alone for two minutes, I'll be alright. "
Yash was stubborn he wouldn't go, "No, I can't leave you like this. As soon as uncle David arrived, you began to act weirdly. I won't let you go without telling me what's the matter.. "
Natasha sobbed more, "He...he.. assaulted me when I was 8-9 years old. I used to be so afraid of him. Now all of a sudden the monstrous face is again in front of me."
Yash was shivering with anger. He rose up to punch that son of a b*tch in the face. But Nat held his hand and stopped him. "Please Nat leave my hand. I need to break his jaw right now. "
"No Yash, listen to me. I was too afraid as a child to tell my parents. After that he went abroad and I never saw him again. But now please don't bring it back to my parents, they won't be able to handle it.", Natasha cried.
Yash wrapped her in a hug. "He won't be able to do anything this time. I won't let that happen. I promise."
Yash tightened the hug and Natasha closed her eyes.
