Bitter truth...

Being unable to stop Natasha, Sarah returned to the table to get the answers.
She heard Abir saying,
"What therapy? Where is she now?"

Jay replied in an angry tone,
"Don't try to show me that you actually care about my sister."

"You don't know the whole thing, Jay.
So you have no right to judge me." Abir frowned.

"Listen Abir, I don't need to know anything from you. All I know is that you left my sister alone eight months ago and she was so depressed after that she had to go to a therapist. You ruined her mental health. And now you come to show your face with another girl?You're pathetic. Let's go Sarah."
Jay got up and held Sarah's hand to leave the place.

Abir remained sitting there alone. People around the restaurant awkwardly looked at him. Abir thought about Rhea, what she might had gone through. Also, he had no idea where she was right then, Jay didn't give him a clue.

Jay along with Sarah, reached the parking space. Sarah grabbed his hand and stopped him.
"Jay! What's this all about?"

"Can we talk about this later, Sarah?"

Sarah begged,
"No please I need to know. This is about my bestfriend too."

Jay sighed,
"Fine. You know that guy Dr. Abir Chatterjee, he had been in a relationship with my sister, Rhea."

Sarah's heart sank,
"Abir never mentioned any of these to Natasha."

"Why would he? Bloody coward! They were in a live-in relationship for two years. I don't know, suddenly what happened, they broke up. Rhea was devastated. She tried contacting him a lot but he did not respond even for once."

Sarah held his hand tight,
"I understand your anger, because it's about your sister. But you shouldn't have said those in front of Natasha. God
knows how she is feeling right now."

Jay held Sarah's cheek,
"Look, I'm so sorry Sarah I didn't mean to hurt Natasha. It is just that, my sister had to take therapies to get over him and he is already moved on with another girl so easily. I got really infuriated, I'm sorry again."

"Can you drop me at Natasha's house? I need to talk to her."

"Yeah, sure. Please say sorry to her on behalf of me."

Natasha's mom saw Natasha going upstairs. She asked Nat why she was home so early. Natasha didn't respond anything and went to her room and closed the door behind.

After a while, Sarah also came. Natasha's mom stopped her.
"Sarah what's the matter? I asked Natasha but she went straight to her room without answering me. She never does this."

"Auntie, I'll explain it to you later. Now I need to go to Nat."
Sarah went towards Natasha's bedroom.

She knocked at the door but Nat didn't open. After knocking many times, Nat finally opened the door.

"Nat, why did you leave like that? You should've asked Abir about everything right there."

"What else could I do Sarah? Didn't you
see, I was labelled as the other woman in Abir's past love story."

"Calm down Nat, please. Jay really shouldn't have said those things there. He said sorry to you."

"You know what Sarah, there is no one to blame, expect me. I am the biggest fool around. I was fool to think that Yash might love me back and I was fool to think that I could finally forget Yash, having Abir beside me." Natasha cried.

Sarah hugged Natasha,
"It is still not clear why Abir did that.
Jay told me something else also."

Natasha broke the hug and looked at Sarah,
"What did he say?"

"He said that, Abir and Rhea were in a live-in relationship for 2 years. When they broke up Rhea had some mental stress so she had to see a therapist. I heard, Abir never went back to her nor received her calls."

"You know what Sarah, I agree there is nothing wrong in having a past. I had nothing going on with Yash, all those feelings were just one sided. Still, I told it to Abir before starting this thing with him. Can't I expect the same honesty from him as well? Am I asking for too much?"

Sarah consoled her,
"No, you are not. We don't know why he didn't tell you. May be, he didn't want to lose you."

Natasha remembered, the same thing she had said to Sarah at the time of Sarah's last break up. Sarah was also telling her the same thing. But her heart was not ready to accept it.
