After the ceremony Natasha and Yash were in the car driving home. Throughout the whole way, Yash didn't say anything except essential things. For example, whether Natasha was sitting properly, whether she had tied the seatbelt.
Natasha had been trying to talk to Yash for a long time but was not getting the chance. He stopped the car in front of Natasha's house.
Natasha looked at Yash, "Yash I know you're upset about what happened tonight. But believe me, it just slipped away from my head that they might be there too."
Yash frowned, "What do you mean? Are they meant to be there? I don't know Nat, I just don't understand anything. I go with you to attend your friend's engagement party but there I meet Abir whom, a girl addresses as 'Baby'. The girl is also none other than the sister of sarah's fiance."
Nat held his hand, "I know it's complicated. I should have told you earlier. Abir had his past relationship with this girl and now they are together again. When Abir and I first met Jay, it came in front of me all of a sudden. I remember, Jay got very aggressive about his sister...."
Yash didn't express this in front of Natasha but he was slightly relieved that Abir was in a relationship before Natasha and now again, in a relationship after Natasha. Yash pulled out a neutral face.
"Yeah, I understand. Leave it. What was supposed to happen has happened. It was good to see from one side. You saw that Abir is happy and Abir also saw that you are happy too. Nothing to worry about. "
"Thanks Yash, thanks for understanding. I love you, Good night. " Natasha kissed Yash on his cheek and got out of the car.
"I love you too, Nat. Good night. " Yash drove home.
A few days later, Natasha was returning to her cabin after finishing her round. She got a call from Yash,
"Hello, Yash." Natasha was talking while walking.
"Hi, love. What are you doing? "
"Nothing special, just came from my round. "
"Okay, so we don't have any plan for this evening right?" Yash asked.
Natasha thought, Yash might be going somewhere. "No. Why are you asking? Are you going somewhere? "
"No, baby. Dad wanted you to have dinner tonight. He called me to check if we had any plans."
Natasha was curious, "Is everything okay no, Yash? "
"Why are you tensed? You know how big fan of you, dad is. He wants you to have dinner with us tonight, nothing more than that.", Yash assured her.
"Fine. My shift is over at 7:30."
"Superb. I'll pick you up at 8 then. Love you, bye."
"Love you too."
Natasha got back to work again.
At 8 p.m., Yash picked her up and they started for his home. On their way, Nat called her mom to inform that she would be having dinner tonight at Yash's place.
After a while, they reached home and Yash's dad welcomed them. While at dinner table, Yash noticed that there are special food and more food than usual. It might be because of Natasha. But one thing he didn't understand is, his father's over enthusiastic behaviour. His dad was laughing over unnecessary things also. He suspected that something was definitely coming.

Once they were done with dinner, Yash's dad cleared his throat, "Kids, it is so good to see both of you like this. "
Yash and Nat looked at each other and smiled. Yash held her hand, under the table.
"It's nice to see you so happy, Uncle.", Natasha added.
"Really kids, I'm so happy. And I want to stay this way forever. Many storms have blown in this short time. Now you two get married as soon as possible. Then I am relieved."
Hearing these words, Natasha blushed. She looked at Yash but he was looking at his dad.
"C'mon dad. Now don't push us into the wedding thing. " Yash said to his dad.
Natasha stared Yash in disbelief. His dad's reaction was same as Natasha.
"What are you saying son? You two will get married, won't you?" His dad nervously asked to confirm.
Yash unwrapped his hand from Natasha's hand and tried to make his father understand. "Look dad, we will get married and there is no doubt in that. But my question is, why do we have to marry immediately? Don't you trust us dad? You tell me Nat, don't you trust me?"
Yash turned to Nat and he was waiting for her answer.
Natasha held her tears back in great difficulty and answered, "You are right. We should take things slow. "
Sadness appeared on his dad's face, "Fine, whatever you think is right."
Natasha thought in her mind, 'Why doesn't Yash want to marry me now? Specially after all the things happened to us. What is stopping him? Isn't this relationship special enough for him? '
After the dinner, Yash drove Natasha her home. She was silent all the way. When Yash stopped the car, she tended to get down from the car but Yash held her hand.
"Are you upset with me, baby?" Yash asked Nat.
Natasha lowered her eyes, "No. Why would I be? I'm just tired."
"Nat!! I love you and only you. I wanna marry you and spend my entire life with you. But don't you think that it will be very soon to marry now?"

Natasha took her hand out of Yash's hand and said, "I trust you, Yash. I don't wanna force you about anything. Since I have been able to wait for 17 years, I can wait a few more days too. Bye."
Natasha got down from the car and went inside her home. Yash understood how upset she was. He hit on the steering wheel in disappointment with himself.
