Party - (part 2)

A moment of awkwardness arose when Yash and Natasha kept looking at each other. Suhana couldn't tolerate it anymore. She broke the silence,
"Hi Natasha! I see you are perfectly alright now."

Natasha and Yash came back to reality. Natasha looked at Suhana,
"Yes, Suhana. I'm quite well now. And thanks Yash, thanks for coming."

Yash smiled faintly. Abir interrupted by saying,
"Natasha, you need to look at something. Just check it once."

Natasha turned to Yash and Suhana,
"Excuse me. Enjoy the party. "

Abir placed his left hand on Natasha's waist and took her from there. Yash looked at this and frowned. After that Suhana and Yash went to Mr. & Mrs. Khanna to wish them. Yash's dad was also standing next to them. When he saw Yash with Suhana he got very angry. He gave Yash an anger filled look. Nat's mom and dad were also little akward and disheartened seeing the love interest of their daughter with another girl.

Soft music was playing around the party hall. Then Natasha came on the stage and asked for everybody's attention.

"Good evening all. I wanna thank you all for joining us on this special occasion. Today is a very special day. Because today is the 30th wedding anniversary of my dear parents, the most gorgeous couple I have ever seen. You guys are perfect icons for me. I saw you guys shatter, break but rise up again with each other's support. You never lose faith in each other no matter what the situation was. You two complete each other. You inspire me the most. I am so lucky to have parents like you and I love you so so so very much.

Now I would like to welcome on stage, very talented, Dr. Abir Chatterjee. "

Natasha's parents were overwhelmed with her speech.

Abir came up on stage. He began to sing a beautiful bengali song. He sang it so well, everyone was mesmerised. It was a duet song but nobody knew that. So, when the female part came, Natasha came from the backstage singing. Natasha's parents were shocked seeing Natasha singing a bengali song. Yash was stunned to speak. Another thing about Natasha that he didn't know. Sarah was observing Yash's reaction from little distance.

Yash saw how Natasha and Abir were  looking at each other  and smiling while singing. Yash wasn't liking it very much. Why did it matter to him? He should rather be happy that Natasha had another person beside her. But Yash was unable to make his heart understand.

Everybody present at the party, gave Abir and Natasha a huge round of applause. People praised them, clicked photos with them. Yash heard some ladies saying that, Abir and Natasha were looking so good together and they would make a great couple. Yash grinded his teeth. Suhana couldn't take this anymore. She felt like going but also she wouldn't leave Yash alone with Natasha.

After that Mr. and Mrs. Khanna cut the cake. Dinner was also served after a while. When everybody was busy in taking seats for dinner, Abir pulled out Natasha's arm and took her to a comparatively quite place. Yash also looked around but neither he found Abir nor Natasha.

Natasha was little shocked,
"What happened Abir? Why did you bring me here?"

Abir closed his eyes and took a deep breath,
"I wanted to tell you this for sometimes. I'm not very good with words so I just wanna say this straight, I love you, Natasha."

Natasha's heart skipped a beat,
"You.....you...love me?"

"Listen, I know I'm a good friend of yours. That's why I don't want you to hurry. I just want you to think about us being together."

Tear rolled over Nat's cheeks,
"I want to tell you something also Abir.
I have loved someone for a long time. It was not any relationship or something like that. It was just my one-sided love.
So I can not promise you right away that I will be able to love you the same way you do."

Abir came closer and held her hand,
-"It's okay. Everyone has their past. You don't have to love me right now. Just be with me and see if you can fall in love with me. I promise, you will fall in love with me. And if you don't, you can walk out of this relationship anytime. I won't stop you."

"Thanks Abir."

They came together at the party hall holding hands. After the dinner, Abir asked Natasha for dance. Suhana also pulled Yash to the dance floor. But Yash's eyes were only stuck on Abir and Natasha.
