He had to tell me something now of all times on my 17th birthday when I was finally having fun I may say I was intrigued so I just looked over at him as he pulled a cigarette out of his pocket and lit it he took in a long drag before offering it to me I realize what the hell and take it along with a swing and a big cloud of smoke coming out of my mouth "when we were together I Couldn't have been happier" he admits and he takes the cig from my hand and takes another smoke from it "but I also knew I'd find a way to fuck it up one way or another" I nod at this and he shoots me a playful glare I giggle at this "so in an effort to not fall in love with you I cheated I cheated and I regretted it because after I did I knew" he turned to me and took my hands in his I knew exactly what he was about to say and I didn't feel the same way "Im in love with you Selena Perez" he finally says it the word I had been waiting to her all those months ago only now I knew I didn't feel the same way "Tristan-" he cuts me off "I know you don't feel the same I see the way you look at Jess I'm telling you this because" he pauses and come closer and his hand moves a piece of my hair behind my ear "don't be afraid to love Selena I know you and Jess are going through things but if I were you and I had a love like that" he places a hand on my chin and makes me look him in the eyes "I wouldn't ever let it go so don't let him go whatever happened you can work it out because that what love is looking past the person's flaws and mistakes" he explained and suddenly it all makes sense I understand what he was saying and I was grateful that he told me this "now that you know this I've gotta go," he says and he stands up I look at him confused as he starts to walk away "Tristan!" People had left and so did I, I was currently walking towards Luke's it was 3 am and I noticed the light was on and a family brown-haired boy sitting at the counter reading I walked up and opened the door the bell rung and Jess looked up and his eyes widened I guess he didn't expect to see me I walked over to the counter and he closed the book he was reading "how was the party" he asks getting up from he seat behind the counter I shrug at him as I take a seat across from him "tea?" "Where'd you go this morning," Rory asks as the guys started to load our luggage into the limo we were taking to the airport "I went to see Jess" I admit and she looks at me annoyed I know she didn't want me to be involved with him but I couldn't help it "let's get going losers" I screamed as we walked up to the car Collin flips me off Finn pulls me into a hug "Hawaii here we come ace" Logan cheers I nod at this and they all start to file into the limo I follow that is until "Selena!" I turn to see Jess I'll admit I was anxious to see if he was really going to come "you came" I smiled at this he nods and walks over to me taking my face in his hands and kissing me hard I kissed back finally the boy I love was kissing me "I love you" he says against my lips and my smile grows even wider "you're gonna be in Hawaii and I'm going to California to stay with my dad" he starts and I gasp I didn't know Jess had finally met his dad "Jess I'm so happy for you" I tell him as I hold him he nods "we'll make this work I never wanna lose you again" he admits "we're gonna be late!" Rory jokes and I send her a glare Jess laughs at this "Don't forget about me Perez" he teased I playfully push his arm before walking to the car and getting in were about to pull off before I pop my body out of the skylight "I won't forget about you loser!" I shout Jess smirks at this and we pull off everything was finally great
