I loved hearing her old childhood stories but I had to go help Lane write a song "as much as I love your story's miss thing I have a song to write with Lane" I stand up and place my phone in my pocket as I walked out I heard Jess tell Luke he was going on a break and soon enough "Hey Perez!" He caught up with me and I smiled at him "hey jess" I say as we stop in front of the market "you need a partner" he asks I shrug as I continued to walk away he followed behind me "I mean if your not busy-"

I quickly pulled him into a small alley and pressed my lips on his he's reaction was immediate and his hands snakes down to my waist as we continued to kiss "that's one hell of a detour I'll tell you that Perez" he flirts and I smirk at this biting my lip at his now puffy pink lips "so what's this game we're playing Jess" I ask leaning against the other wall and crossing my arms he shrugs "well we could do the whole friends with benefits thing but that's so out dated so how about" he pauses and walks over trapping me in between his arms "together but it's nobodies business" he whispers against my lips and I nod as this pressing my lips with his for a quick peck "I like the ring of that" I joke and he pulls away stinking out his hand for me to take

"let's finish this walk Perez" he suggests I nod and take his hand as we walk down the stars-hallow streets

"I heard from several people that you were seen hand in hand with Jess yesterday is that true Lena" and here it was the questioning as I sat on my bed as Rory and Lane looked through my records for a new album to listen too "it may have been true" I tease and soon a pillow flying to my head I look over at Rory with a glare to see she has one of her own "don't bull shit us, Selena, you haven't been with anyone since-" I cut lane off now glaring at her

"We don't say his name" I mutter I wasn't gonna let Tristan have any effect on my new pending relationship "okay we won't say his name but spill" Paris speaks up and I realize that she's here for once "we're together not that it's anyone's business" I explained and they clap at this and I stick out my tongue at Rory who sends me a middle finger "Together huh are you gonna tell him about the Romeo and Juliet thing," Paris asks and I mentally facepalm

I completely forgot about the Romeo and Juliet thing where you know I have to kiss my ex-boyfriend "you have to tell him!"Lane states and I nod sadly "but isn't a bit early for a crazy ex" I whine and Rory throws another pillow at me and I fall off my bed "that's it I'm taking these away from you!" I yelled angrily as I got back on my bed "if you didn't want a crazy ex you shouldn't have dated Tristan!" Rory scolds and I pout at this crossing my arms like a child
"I thought he was different okay!" I say In Defense but they end up teasing me about it the whole night I knew I shouldn't have said anything cause now I have to tell Jess about it

"You look nervous" Luke points out and I glare at him as he placed my tea in front of me at the counter I place my head in the table "Hey you" I hear and I lift my head to Jess who leans over and pressed a kiss to my lips I'm not stupid so I kiss him back and start hearing the gasps and whispers "well that's new," Luke says as Lorelai walks into the diner she saw the exchange and was smirking "finally settled down huh" she joked nudging me and I laughed at this as I took a sip of my tea "Have any idea why you're girlfriend looks so nervous Jess," Luke asks blankly

I glare at him crossing my arms "I have no clue girls a brick wall" I crumble up my napkin and throw it at the kid he laughs at this "oh is it cause Tristans coming to town," Lorelai asks not knowing the problems she had just caused "who's Tristan," Jess asks looking at me and I give him a nervous smile fuck it "you know how most amazing girls have persistent ex's who they have to do a Romeo and Juliet kissing scene I know you do!" I state and his face turns stone cold

I get up grabbing his hand and leading him upstairs to the apartment "look don't be mad" I breathe out and he laughs at this I look up at him confused "I'm not mad Selena that guy just needs to watch himself" he explains and I smile up at him for this "so no fight," I ask he shakes his head pulling me close to him "no fight" he answers and I press my lips to his and then I pull away heading to the door "Girlfriend" I hear and I turn to Jess "yeah," I ask he shrugs
"Just wanted to see if you'd reply to it" he teased

I laughed at this as he followed me down the stairs where everyone was watching  us as if we were some telenovela "damn people in this town are nosy" Jess jokes and I nod
