         Alarmed I woke up in a frat house in Ethan's arms in an unfamiliar shirt man I got shit faced last night I blacked out like an idiot "Shit" I cursed softly as I untangled myself from Ethan's arms and began to get dressed I went back on everything I stood for I told myself and him that we would sleep together until we were official and ready but no I had to sleep with him just because I was angry about Jess and Rory typical Selena Perez I snuck out with almost no interruption that is until "Hey Lena" I hear I turned my head to see Scotty leaning against his rooms door frame with a smug look on his face "oh hey Scotty how's the band," I say trying to sound casual he crossed his arms and walks over to me "you were wearing that last night did you finally get some," he asks smirking I glare at him shoving him and he lets out a laugh and shush him not wanting to wake up anyone else "not that it's any of your business but yes!" I swing at his arm and this time he winced before pulling me into a hug I hug him back it's been a while since Scotty and I  have talked alone since he and Sereniti started spending every minute of every day together "need a ride back to the dorms" he asks and I nod he placed his arm around my shoulder and we walked out of the frat to his motorcycle I needed a break from Yale if it wasn't obvious enough so I was gonna head home just this weekend for a bit of fun

I pulled up to my childhood home and got out of my car shutting the door just as my moms ran out of the house to greet me I ran into their arms as well missing the embrace of my mothers over the months of them being gone
"How's Yale Mija" my mom asks I shrug as I walk into the house with them we head straight for the kitchen and they start to chat about everything that's going on and how their trip went I'll admit I missed this town no matter how much shit I gave it when I was in high school just as I zoned out my phone began to ring I checked and it was Logan I sighed telling my moms I'd be right back and running to my room while I answered "what's up Huntzberger" I ask he sighs in to the phone so I'm guessing it's about Rory "have you heard from Rory we got into a fight and she hasn't been answering my calls" he asks me and this is when I sigh of course Rory ran to Jess after things got tough with Logan that girl just loved to cause mischief "look Logan were like family so I'll be honest with you I saw Rory with Jess last night while I was on a date with Ethan and they were about to kiss I don't know if you guys are on a break or something but I was gonna let you know anyway" I explained and he went silent I guess he was in shock "I knew I shouldn't have trusted her when she said they were just friends" he says angrily and I clutch my phone to my arm as if I'd heard it wrong
"What do you mean you knew they were hanging out," I ask he goes silent for a bit before deciding to answer "yeah she told me you knew did you not know Ace," he asks and I scoff "no I didn't good talk" then I hang up the phone Rory was really testing me she'd learn

I was walking the town to go see Lane I opened the door to the shop and called out her name no answer that is until I walked into the kitchen "oh it's just you" she says and I nod she quickly runs to the closet and let's out her band mates "that's the 5th time today" one of them says and I laugh at this "I'd say explain yourself but all the pieces are already put together" I joke she slaps my arm and I wince she giggled at this "we're having a band meeting what brings you to town Lena" she asks I shrug taking a seat on her kitchen table "you know just needed a break from collage" I tell her crossing my arms and crossing my legs she sighs "a breaks never good" Zach says and I flip him off "I just wanted to see how your doing I'll be off now" I say getting up she nods at me and I leave the shop just to run into someone's chest I almost fall back but Dean catches me in his arms "thanks for stopping my fall Forester" I joke he laughs and let's me go "whatcha in town for Lena" he ask I shrug why did I need a reason to be in town "just a break from collage life how's collage for you dean" he takes a step back noticing everyone staring at us and I just scoff "small town gossip" I mutter her nods
"Uh collage is great Lindsey is really supportive and we're actually getting married tomorrow" he announced and my eyes widened "married," said as if I hadn't heard him say it he nods "it's a bit early in life to get married don't you think dean" I point out he shrugs "when you know you know" he admits and I wince at this I must not have hidden it well because he looked at me confused "what's the wince about," he asks I shrug crossing my arms again "look dude I've gotta go but have a good night," I say and I quickly speed walk away from him not wanting to start an argument in the middle of town square for his soon to be wife to see

I was sitting in Luke's and telling him everything that had been going on they were closed so we didn't expect people to knock at the doors at 2 am I looked over and it was dean and a few of his buddies "oh hey Selena" he friend says I nod at this Luke unlocks the door and they come barreling in dean stumbles to stay up and I catch his body he smiles up at me and I immediately know he's way past drunk
"Okay this ones wasted Luke mind if-" Luke cuts me off "sure" I nodded and started leading Dean up the stairs and into Luke's apartment to lay him on the bed when I did and tried to walk away he grabbed my arm "why didn't you stay Lena," he asks I looked over at him confused "dean what do you-" he cuts me off
"If you would've stayed id have broken it off with Lindsey immediately" he slurred I sighed taking his hand off of me "you know why I left dean and you also know the heart-crushing truth" I walked toward the door but just as I was about to leave I turned back to him "my heart will always belong to Jess Mariano" I admit and I walked out of the apartment
