    Heartbreak was the only word I had for what I was feeling I woke up in my bed confused the last thing I remember was leaning against the door with my head in my hands muttering stupid to myself for not going after Jess I wiped my sleepy eyes and looked over at Ethan! When did he get here I looked myself up and down I was in an unfamiliar hoodie a hoodie that said "Mac" on the back "Ethan" I whispered in an effort to get him to wake up when the whispering doesn't work I nudge him with my foot which seems to make him stir awake "oh shit you're awake" he says and I nod swinging my legs Over the edge of the bed I try to step to the ground but I collapse Ethan rushes to my side quickly and helps me back up this is what happens when I don't take my meds after I've had an episode "shit" I cursed as I clutched my leg I had landed on Ethan helped me back on the bed and I winced at the contact
"What can I do," he asks, and right as I'm about to respond the bedroom door swings opened
"We're here too!-" Finn gets shut up by Logan who shoved them both to the side "What the fuck happened!" He asks he basically fuming he pushed Ethan away from me and placed his arm around my back for support "Logan I-" he cuts me off "you had an episode and didn't take your meds didn't you" he asks and I nod reluctantly here comes the lecture "Selena you could've died what about this is a joke to you!" He scolded I could hear what he was saying but it was all muffled I was just replaying Jess's words in my head "Selena listen god damn it!" Logan yelled and flinched at his tone "okay dude chill out-" Logan cuts Ethan off turning to him "who the fuck even are you!" He spat in Ethans face I sighed at this Logan was angry and when he was angry he didn't hold back he was rude "I swear to god if you caused her episode I'll kill you-" Ethan cuts him off once again "look it's wasn't me I found her collapsed against the floor crying out to someone named Jess" Ethan explained and Logan's eyes widened he turned to me like I was a hurt puppy "Collin Finn get this guy out of here" Logan says and they rushed Ethan out before he could protest Logan took a seat next to me
"Tell me everything" and I did I told him all the heartbreaking events from the night before

I laid in Collins's lap while he attempted to braid my hair I was feeling way better now after Logan got me checked out by his family's personal doctor and I got some new stronger meds "okay we're going out!" Logan cheered as he walked into the living room he placed his phone in his pocket "I don't think that's wise after last nights events" Collin reasons and I send him a glare from his lap he laughs at this I notice how many knots he put in my hair "Collin you ass!" I yelled getting up and slapping his arm he laughs at my frustration
"I think partying is a fine idea I hear it's the best way to heal a broken heart" Finn states and throw a magazine at him he flips me off quickly "okay boys were going out!" I cheer

Ah the bar my natural habitat my favorite habitat so picture it here I was dancing on top of a bar to pinks raise your glass it felt like being in high school all over again except this time I had no curfew and had a few new tricks up my sleeve the song ended and I decided I needed to take a breather I got off the bar and as soon as I did Little talks by monsters of men came on and I froze this was me and Jess's song from prom night that night I'd always love

~Flashback~

"Lena comes on just one dance" Lane whined I had come to the dance with Jess so that Lane could come with Dave and say I was having fun was a lie "no!" I whined placing my head on the table and Jess nudged me "come on" he commands taking my hands and pulling me up I groaned as we walked to the dance floor an unfamiliar song came on and I placed my arms around his neck as we swayed to the song and I realized I was going to college soon without him "Jess-" he cuts me off shushing me and pulling me closer to the Music "I know I'm scared too" he assures and I smile at this knowing he was afraid to lose me as well as a weight lifted off my chest "so let's make the most of our time" I hope he gets what I'm saying and he does we quickly looked around Lane was distracted and we slipped out of the gym and ran to Luke's he was out of town with Lorelai so Jess and I had the apartment all to our selves and that was the night that Jess and I had made love together for the first time

~Flashback Over~

Tears brimmed my eyes and I let them fall as the song continued I quickly ran out of the bar I definitely needed some air I leaned again the brick walls outside and placed my face in my hands crying into them "Selena?" I heard I looked over to see Ethan of course he was here I quickly wiped my eyes "hey" I say my voice cracks and I can't tell he knows somethings up
"What happened why are you crying," he asks and I shake my head more tears fill my eyes as the song continues "it's a lot to explain" I breathe out and he walks to stand right next to me it was a cold night so he threw his jacket over my shoulder and I let him "is this because of that guy you were call out to Jess?" He asks and I couldn't hold it in anymore even the mention of his name broke my heart I basically threw myself into Ethan's arms seeking comfort from everything going through my head "hey don't cry I've gotcha" he assures pulling me closer and rubbing my back to comfort me I continued to cry the kept going as I cried "this song" I was barely able to mutter I looked up at him and he noticed what I meant "it meant something to you and him did it" he asks and I nod he sighs "look I don't know what the history is with this guy but I do know one thing" he placed a hand on my chin and pushed my head up to face "he shouldn't have lost such an amazing girl" he admits and I laugh at this the tears had stopped but the numbness I was feeling was slowly fading with Ethans presence
"Wanna get out of here and watch a movie in my dorm?" He asks and I nod at this it sounded like fun and having Ethan around really helped with the emotions I was going through "I'd love too" I answer he smiled at this and placed an arm around my shoulder as we walked to his car to go to his dorm
