Selena Perez was a mess for the first time in her life I mean she sure didn't look it she still looked like she had everything under control when in actuality she's sob every night to little talks and wear the leather jacket Jess got her so they could match to bed nightly I felt bad for my Friend so what did I do I tracked the asshat down for some big boy talk time I stood outside of his apartment and knocked on the door he answered it and looked very surprised to see me and I just gave him a look of hatred "what have you done This time Jess"I accuse getting in his face he looked confused I guess he really didn't know she was a mess "Damnit Jess she was finally happy!" She was crying I had made her cry I fucked up majorly I tried running after her but it was no use that is until I heart weeping coming from a staircase I went to open the door but was tugged back "you must be Jess" a guy asks crossing his arms at me I nod and try to go but he stops me "you've done enough I'll go check on Lena" he spat and I rolled my eyes at this he was not starting with me right now "And who the hell are you" I asl crossing my arms now he was the guy keeping me away from the girl I love "I'm the one who picked up the pieces when you left" he responded and something had never made me angrier in my life "yeah well I'm back and I'm not going anywhere," I say through gritted teeth getting in this guys face he was taller than he not that I cared "yes you are Lena can't do this Bro and I know you love her but she needs time if you really love her you'll give her time until then you have to let her get over you" he pauses and placed an arm on my shoulder "she's a mess dude she needs a stable relationship right now and honestly I wanna be that for her" he confessed this guy was not telling me he was gonna date Lena then it clicked I couldn't be stable for her she deserved stable she deserved to be happy and this guy was gonna make her happy that's all I've ever wanted for her "you're right" I mutter our breathlessly and he nods "Don't break her heart okay" I demand he nods and opened the door to the stairs I catch the door before it closes and lean against the frame watching as he sat next to her and pulled her close she immediately hugged him and started to sob even louder "why does it hurt so much!" She almost screamed out as she cried into his chest and I felt tears brim my eyes he tilted her head with his hand and kissed her forehead the way I used to when she told me she'd had a bad dream I sighed walking out and closing the door this is what Selena needed and for once she didn't need me this was good for her right?
