Waking up with the intention of ignoring someone is something I hated doing why because it meant I actually had to give a shit for once something that pissed me off Scarlett was banging on my door last night but I drowned her out by turning on my speakers and blasting take me away "morning Selena" Sereniti says to me as I walk into the living room "hey Reni wanna grab some coffee" I ask she nods and grabs her stuff I was already dressed and ready for a day full of avoiding see here's a rule I follow I give the person I'm fighting with a day to see if they'll realize how stupid we were both being and we'll make up the day after if not then I guess we've got beef
"I'll pay" Reni volunteers and I nod at this we walked to the cafe near the dorms and sat at our usual booth which Paris and Rory were already waiting for us in "look who finally woke up" Rory jokes and I take a seat next to her and Reni next to Paris "so Scarlett tired to break your door down yesterday any idea what that was about," Paris asks I and roll my eyes, of course, she did that was Scarlett, "she thinks I was going to hook up with Scotty" I explain Rory laughs at this and Sereniti's expression suddenly changes and I have no idea why
"So cutting to the chase what do you need Reni," I asked turning to the girl who immediately froze up "well you see Yale has a singing group and I sing but im a little shy and I have no idea how to perform or even be as confident as you so I wanted to ask" she paused to look up at me and I could see how much she wanted this "if you could coach me for auditions," she asks and a lightbulb turns in my head "Yale hallway B 8:30 tomorrow be there," I say and I get up and leave for a little bit of mystery in my sentence I had a plan a good one

It was officially 8:00 and Reni was early in the dress I had left on her doorstep I had a bit of help with Rory and Paris who are surprising trained well for this instance "so you know what I've noticed about you Sereniti" I ask she shakes her head and I take her hand
"You freeze up whenever Scotty is around or even mentioned" I point out and her cheeks turned crimson immediately I smirked at this
"Please don't tell Scar she'll kill me" she begs and I shake my head "I'm not gonna say anything I'd never but I have a way for you to catch his attention and to get yourself ready for the audition" I state and Rory and Paris begin the music and I smirked, "don't think sing!"

"Very good display of affection Mrs. Degato May I asked to who," The teacher asks crossing her arms in an amused away I smirked at Sereniti who was blushing she had done amazing her was completely nervous about what Scotty would think that was gonna be hard to fix the bell rings and everyone gets out I their seats Ethan walks past me with a blank look on his face and I roll my eyes "you gonna continue being an ass or are you gonna talk to me" I called out and he finally stopped in his tracks the girls had walked off by now so I walked up to him alone "look Selena as entertaining as that was I-" I cut him off with a laugh "oh baby that wasn't for you" I teased and he rolled his eyes at this I saw something change in his eyes and suddenly I'm pinned against an empty hallway in between his arms
"You sure cause your eyes were on me the whole time" he tried to tease me back but two could play that game I placed my hands around his neck and leaned in so his lips were grazing over mine "you wish" I mutter then I slip out of his grasp and walked away from him smiling

I was chilling in my room when it got kicked off of its hinges I rolled my eyes knowing Scarlett was finally fed up "you thought a door would keep me out!" She yelled she was basically fuming I laughed at this and got up from my position meant for sleeping and placed down by lava which was the thing I turned too to chill out now I wasn't addicted some times I just needed a little buzz and Jess has got me hooked he still smoked when we dated and I'd never admitted it but I loved the taste of nicotine that came with our make-out sessions I missed the taste of His lips on mine but it's not like I could just call him "what do you want Scarlett!" I asked and she crossed her arms "for you to stop flirting with my brother Sereniti is into him and I've been watching them dance around their feelings for years!" She whined and my eyes widened so she knew about Sereniti's crush and yet she never gave them a push "trust me Scar I'm not flirting with Scotty he and Reni are actually out looking for records right now" I explained now crossing my arms their relationship would be my doing even if it would be the last thing I ever did "5 years and all it took as a dance number!" Scarlett whined before stomping out of the room I laughed at this as I shut the surprising not broken door
My phone rang and it was an unknown caller I quickly picked up and it was just silence and I immediately know who it was "Jess" I mutter into the phone no response but I knew who was listening and that's what matters "I don't know how much time you have but I want you to know that I wanted to go with you but-" I paused and let out a sigh "you were my first love Jess" I finally gave in and decided to say what Ive wanted to say for weeks "and fuck I hate that I still am hopelessly devoted to you" I cursed and the tears started to go down my face "well have our time Selena" he mutters into the phone and I let out a sigh of relief knowing he's okay "but for now we need space" he adds and I nod as much as I wanted to protest he was right "I love you Jess Mariano" I say and I hear him chuckle "I love to Selena Perez" he answer and then we both hang up
