Aiden POV:-

I waited for Jessica to come for our reception. I am eager to see how she will look. My heart flutters in blithe just to think about it. I grinned and waited for her to come. I wore a slim fit three buttoned gray coat with peak lapel and a matching waistcoat along with my tailored gray pants. I wore our wedding ring along with our traditional sapphire ring in my thumb that has been passed down for generations. And a silver brooch from my lapel to my front pocket and of course my watch. I combed my hair perfectly and trimmed my beard. My hands were in the pocket of my dress as I waited for my bride to come.

Soon she came and when my eyes fell upon her I couldn't take off my eyes from her. The dress swayed when she walked down the stairs with a smile as her fingers brushed against the railing. My heart skipped a beat as the benediction of having such a beautiful wife filled me. She looked like some fascinating angel, her beauty is appealing to one's heart; mine. The dark shade of lipstick enticed me to kiss her as her hairs enhanced a million times when they are opened. She looked so elegant, my heart desires nothing but her.

She stopped in front of me as I smiled and looked at her. I caressed her cheeks and said, "My heart seeks no riches but the treasure before me." She smiled and said shyly, "Thank you." I don't know what took over me as I moved to her ears as I brushed my lips against her ear. Her breath hitched as she looked at me innocently. I nibbled on her ear and moved my hands to her waist pulling her close to me. Her breath became heavy as she held my coat and lowered her head.

"I cherish you more than my life."  I whispered and pulled away. She was panting and when I removed my hands she abruptly took a step back and tugged a strand of her hairs behind her ears, she was slightly startled. I looked at her for a second and offered her my hands,  "I apologize for my action. Shall we leave?" I said in a charming voice. She looked at me and gave me a hesitant nod and held my hands.

We reached our hotel as it was full of life. When we entered all eyes fell upon us. I felt so proud to have her beside me. I put my hand over her waist as we walked in. Jessica saw her parents and quickly went to them. I smile when I see that look of happiness on her face when she meets her parents. She smiled so radiantly that it shone my heart. I walked to John, Hadith and Katie. They all smiled at me as Katie teased, "Lovers finally together huh?"

"What do you mean by finally?"  Hadith asked.

"Jessica loved Aiden for quite a while." Katie replied.

"Really?!  Why you never told me before?!" John asked,  astonished.

"Oh, Jessica just neglects her love,  looks like she finally accepted it." She smirked. You are wrong, she accepted it before but neglecting it now. I just passed them a faint smile.

"We are so happy for you dude." John said. "Me too." I replied. "So, how's our Jessica as a wife?" My smile grew wider as I turned my head to Jessica and saw her talking to Lucy. I looked at her, mesmerizing her features in my heart and replied, "Very desirable. A perfect wife." They all hood at me as I continued to look at her.

"Enough Aiden,  how long you're gonna look at her." Katie teased. I let out a quiet chuckle and replied, "For as long as I can."

"That guy is deeply in love." Hadith said. I just smiled and soon Jessica and Lucy joined us too. "Hey.. Our newlywed seemed so cute." Lucy squeaked.

"I told you." Katie said proudly.

"How's your life Jessica? Are you thinking about doing a job or not?" John asked. She held her chin and replied,  "You know how lazy I am. I prefer sticking to being a housewife."

"Oh, What about your degrees and all?" Lucy asked.

"Maybe they'll  help in the future." She smiled.

"You guys should dance!" Squeaked Katie. I looked at Jessica as she looked at me. I smiled and offered her my hands. She took it as we went to the dance floor and when began to dance everyone stopped and focused solely on us.

"I am depending on you." I said to Jessica, not wanting to embarrass us dancing badly. She nodded and put her hand over my shoulder as I held her waist while I held her other hand and I felt extreme tranquil when my fingers intertwined with hers.

"A step close." She told me as I stood close to her. She seemed unaffected by it. I felt like I am standing too close as the urge to pull her more close aroused in me. "Spin me." I lift her hand as spun her and then she lean on my hands as my hand on her waist automatically moved to her back as I leaned in and have her neck a slight peck and pulled her up. I then put her hands in the air and turned her, her back pressed against my chest, I lost control over myself as I got lost in the music and my desires as I moved my hand from her shoulder down to her hands and held them and turned her to me. I held her back as my lower body was pressed against hers. I leaned in and brushed my nose against her. She closed her eyes and remained silent, she is lost like me. What she is lost into is unfathomable to me but I am lost in her. I took a step back and began to dance with her. Every rhythm pulled me close to her, I felt so completed, my heart flutters in happiness and I understood one thing tonight;  You held me captured in your heart. To end our dance. I pulled her close and held her back firmly as she leaned back and then slowly came up and rested her head on my chest. I was deeply rejoiced to have her in my arms. What I began to feel for her just increased a million times after our marriage. I can't even explain how happy I am.

Cheers echoed in the halls as it seems like our dance compensated for the cold kiss of our wedding. We slowly pulled away as she lift her gaze and looked so attractive that I can barely control my emotions.

After our reception we went home. I changed and walked out and saw Jessica struggling with her necklace.

"Should I help? I asked.

"No..  It's okay." She said. I nodded and sat on the bed and watched her not being able to open her necklace. After I sighed and stood up and walked behind her as I held her necklace in my hands.

"I told you. I can-" I cut her off.

"Let me do it." She closed her mouth and pulled her hands back. I pushed her hairs on her shoulder, my finger brushed against her shoulder as I can feel her shivers. I involuntarily leaned in and undo her necklace. The necklace was about to fall and we both her it at the same time. I failed to realize that I am too close to her. She slowly raised her gaze and looked at me. Her eyes bore into mine. I involuntarily took a step closer, when I did she took a step back as she back hit the wall and I was in front of her.

I leaned in close to her face, I can feel her deep yet rapid breath, the loud thumping of her heart, there was distressed this time but surprisingly we didn't push away. Her lips began to quiver as I brushed my lips against hers.

I closed my eyes and pressed my lips upon hers, kissing her in an abrupt brief kiss with no intense emotions.

I slowly pulled away and looked at her. She took a step back and put the necklace on the dressing table and left for the bathroom without sparing a glance at me.
After she left, I realized I shouldn't have done this. We recently got marriage and I should have given her some time and shouldn't give her a cold kiss with no connection of heart.

Heart filled with contrite for my actions, I simply laid down and went to sleep without thinking further.
