Aiden POV:-

I opened the door of the car, all stuff packed, ready to leave for our honeymoon. I waited for Jessica with a smile. She came after a few moments, looking beautiful as usual. She walked down, she has a slight hint of distress and coldness in her eyes. She walked to me as I smiled at her, she tugged a strand of her hairs behind her ears and turned her head away. My lips curved downward, but not in a frown, I opened the door of the car for her as she sat mumbling a 'thank you'.  We then start our drive,

"I guess your choices has changed as well, right?" I asked, stopping the car at the red signal. She didn't seem to hear it so I turned my head to her, she seemed deep in thoughts, looking out of the window. Her hands were on her laps, I hesitantly moved my hand and put it over hers. She snapped from her thoughts and looked at me, then at her hands and back again at me, I gave her hand a gentle squeeze and passed her an assuring smile. Her uneven gaze turned itself away from me and pulled her hands away from mine. I continued to smile as we left our destination,  since she has lost her interest in clubs and crowds, I thought it would be better if we stayed somewhere alone.

I decided to have a road trip to our villa. She leaned back on her seat and closed her eyes. The drive was silent, but I kept sparing a glance at her slumbering form, time to time. After a while she woke up,

"Hey.. Are you hungry?" I asked. She rubbed her eyes and asked, "Are we there yet?"

"An hour." I replied. "Yes,  I am." She said straightening herself. I nodded.

"There's a beach nearby, wanna visit it?" I asked. She looked at me and nodded saying, "As long as it has food." I chuckled and replied, "Of course. There's a bakery on the other side of the road. We can go there after taking a stroll… I guess we both are tired."

"You should have thought about the place." She muttered.

"I'm sorry, I asked you but you showed no interest." I mumbled grumpily loud enough so that she could hear it. She rolled her eyes off from me as we both got out and went to the beach.

We walked around the beach, there weren't so many people. Cold breeze embraced us as an involuntary smile crept upon my lips, I turned to Jessica, she was looking down, setting her hairs,  trying not to ruin them because of the air. I stopped and turned to her. I brought my hand close to her face and tugged her hairs behind her ears. She didn't meet my gaze, ever since she came back from her parents home, she seemed distanced and more cold than usual. My hand moved to the side of her face as I began to stroke it gently as I began to say,

"Jessica..  We need to take some pictures, to show our parents.. Do you?" She nodded. I took out my phone and took some selfies but I wanted a full photo of us. I called a random person and asked him to take a picture of us.

Jessica stood beside me.

"Come closer."The guy said. I looked at Jessica, she didn't move,  I tentatively put my hand over her shoulder and pulled her close to me. She kept looking down so I whispered to her,

"Look up Jessica." She slowly lifted her gaze and smiled weakly. I also smiled as we took a photo. I showed her the picture but she is not interested

I sighed deeply as we went back to our car and then to the bakery. We bought some sandwiches, juices and snacks for us. After eating our sandwiches, we continued our drive.

Finally we reached our villa, I took out our stuff and put it inside. I then showed her our room, she remained silent all the time and I decided to call it a day.

The next day, we went to a garden.

"You changed a lot." I said.

"How many times will you tell me that?" She said coldly.
