Ch.23 Stranded

What do I do...? Everything is getting so mixed up... As I walked down the girls dorms, I stopped by Shirley's room. Looking around, I stepped in to see it was empty as I walked around the room. I walked over to Shirley's desk and reached down in a space between the desk and her dresser as I grabbed a crumpled piece of paper. Staring at it, I in rumpled it and read the entry Shirley had written before her memory was lost. I then dug in her drawer and grabbed her diary, leaving the room as I went to my manor. There was no other choice, I had to burn the evidence...

Grabbing a lighter, I lit the diary on fire and set it on the ground, watching it burn for several minutes. When it was nothing but ash, I then took out the paper, lighting the bottom corner before letting it burn. Once both the diary and the torn entry were nothing but ash, I went back to my manor as we would try and convince Suzaku and Yuki to join our side which, in turn, would only fail in the end...

As we got ready, we met a woman by the name of Rakshata Chawla. With her help, she gave everyone new outfits as well as assisted me in fixing up my Doomsday Knightmare with some new perks. When that was finished, as out the plan into motion as we isolated both Suzaku and Yuki. With the help of Rakshata, we had a Gefian Net to cancel out the Knightmares, but not after Prince Schneizel wanted to use Suzaku and Yuki as decoys. I may hate them with a burning passion, but I can't let them die, not since they're my pawns in this whole thing.

I quickly jumped from a Knightmare I didn't care about into the Cavalier Knightmare Yuki was in. The hatch opened as I jumped down, making her growl. The hatch over my right eyes opened as I stated right at her.

"Live!" Was all I said before escaping.

With that in motion, this should be easier to bend her to my will, at least for right now... "Private Yuki Tadashite, if you wish to live, then follow me!"

"Yes, ma'am!" She said she followed me.

I climbed back into the Knigjtmare before taking off where we would hopefully convince the two to join is, which I obviously knew the answer. Once in position, the two were back in their own control as we stood in our Knightmares in a ditch. After the Knightmares were paralyzed, we used this to try and talk to them. "Suzaku Kururugi, Yuki Tadashite, I just wish to ask one thing." Zero started. "And that is for you to join me."

"Not a chance." Suzaku said.

"Suzaku, do you not remember when we saved both of you from execution?" I asked.

"Even so, we're not joining you. We're soldiers and that's all that matters so we can stop the killing."

"Do you think we enjoy it?" I asked, catching them off guard. "We do it for the same reason you do, to make a better place. We are trying to stop those who misuse the word judgement as well as an excuse for a massacre. Join us and we can create a better world..."

"I'm going to have to pass on that." Suzaku said.

"Private Kururugi! Answer at once!"

"May I?"

"Go ahead." Zero said.

"I order you and Private Tadashite to capture both Zero and Spectra."

"What!?" Zero exclaimed.

"Yes, sir."

Suddenly, Suzaku ran behind Zero and pinned his left arm behind his back while pointing the gun in his right hand to his own neck. "Sorry, just following orders."

"You're next!" Yuki said as she charged at me.

"Don't think so!" I quickly got to the forums and kicked her feet out from under her.

Yuki fell to the ground with a grunt as I flipped her into her back, pinning her hands behind her back before pointing my gun at her neck, Suzaku growling. "Damn you..."

"You're playing with fire, Suzaku, and you're going to get burned." I stated.

"Let go of me you witch!" Yuki struggled. I gripped her wrists tighter and pointed the gun closer to her neck.

"Yuki, don't struggle or she might pull the trigger." Suzaku said.

"Correct. But if you wish to tempt fate, then go right ahead and test my patience." Yuki just growled.

Suddenly, gunfire went off as I gasped. I quickly shoved Yuki into Suzaku as she slammed into him, Suzaku releasing Lelouch as we both made a run for it. But as they were chasing us, we ran into both Kallen and Princess Euphemia. However, it didn't end there as we were all washed away by the waves, taking us into some island. When I had awakened, I saw myself still in my Spectra outfit with Zero, but also with Princess Euphemia.

"Lelouch? Is that you?" Euphie asked as Lelouch gasped. "Is that you behind that mask? Before you kill me, at least let me see your face..."

Lelouch sighed, putting his gun away as he removed his helmet and the cloth over his mouth and nose to reveal his face, Euphie smiling. "It is you... And you, Spectra, may I please see your face?"

Slowly, I removed my mask as my half fell down my back. I then removed the cloth over my face just as Lelouch has his. Looking back as Euphie, she gasped in surprise. "Kari, is that really you?"

I nodded. "Yes, Euphie, it's me, Kari."

"I've missed you both terribly." Euphie said.

"Even so, you and I are not legally stepsisters, Euphie. My mother is just taking the throne as Empress. As it stands, I'm not related to either of you, nor Nunnally." I stated.

"But you still of royalty. We may not be related by marriage or blood, but you are still a princess nonetheless..." Lelouch said.

"Yes, that's correct..." I said.

Euphie sighed. "Can't we go back?" She asked. "Can't we go back to those days when we used to gaze up at the stars? I miss those days when everything was peaceful..."

"Yes, it would be nice to just go back..." Lelouch said.

We were still stranded on that island the next day as we all, somehow, found each other. Kallen had her hands bound behind her back with the red band she wears on her head and a Black Knight coat on her shoulders. While Lelouch and Suzaku were talking, Kallen managed to get her arms in front of her before trapping Suzaku.

"I order you to release him!" Euphie ordered.

"Shut it! You're nothing but a pampered little puppet!" Kallen shouted.

"Excuse me!? Suzaku, I order you to fight! Yuki, since you are also my knight, I order you to fight as well!"

"Yes, ma'am!" They said, Suzaku escaping Kallen's grasp as she gasped.

But suddenly, the ground under U.S. light up with the Geass symbol as it began to lower. When it was down to the bottom, Lelouch and I quickly escaped with C.C. and the prototype models for the new Knightmares. That didn't sit too well with Lloyd or the rest of the military for that matter... Oh well, at least Rakshata can have fun with some new toys. This is going to be one hell of a war...
