"Scarlett!!!"

Oh death-dammit! Not this again! I quickened my pace. But suddenly, I was tackled to the floor. When I got up, I saw Rivalz clinging to my waist as I groaned. "Seriously, Rivalz?"

"I just couldn't help myself! You're so cute, Scarlett!"

I rolled my eyes. "Okay, now can you get off of me now?"

Suddenly, he came in front of me and kissed me. I blushed deeply before shoving him away from my face. Hearing footsteps, I looked over to see Lelouch, Rivalz still clinging onto my waist. Why does this keep happening to me...? God, I hate everything...

"Oh, um, hey, Lelouch..." I said nervously.

"What's going on here?" He asked simply.

"Oh, you know...just being in the hall, Rivalz clinging to me. The usual."

Oh god, this was getting super awkward as people were staring at us. Lelouch then started arguing with Rivalz about something pointless when Shirley showed up. Could this get any more worse!?

"Shirley, perfect timing!" Lelouch said. "Come here and I'll prove something really quick." He smirked.

I gave a confused look as he spoke again. "If you wanna kiss someone right, you've gotta do it like this."

Suddenly, Lelouch grabbed Shirley and smacked his lips onto hers. My jaw dropped to the floor as I just stood there, watching. When he finally pulled away from Shirley, she was red faced and confused. "See, like that."

I wanted to cry as I was forced to watch that horrible sight. Everything went into an awkward silence as we all stared at each other. I quickly pushed Rivalz away and ran off to get to class, trying not to cry.

Suzaku and Yuki joined our class that day as Suzaku went it sit by Lelouch while Yuki sat by me. "It's good to see you again, Scarlett."

"You too." I said.

When class ended, I went up to the roof. I didn't want to go to next period as I leaned against the railing of the roof. A sigh escaped my lips as everything seemed confusing right now... "Scarlett..."

I looked over to see C.C. "Scarlett, do you wish to change your name?"

"I don't know... Why don't you go back inside. Lelouch should be coming out soon."

She nodded and went back inside. But suddenly, the door opened again as I quickly hid. Looking over, I saw Lelouch as he leaned on the railing of the roof. Next came Suzaku as the two started talking. Lelouch turned around to face Suzaku. "Seven years since we used the signal." He said as he lifted his collar a bit.

Suzaku walked over to him. "Just like the old day. I'm glad you're okay, I was really worried."

"Alive and kicking thanks to you. I mean, you almost died trying to protect me."

"I was just returning the favor from seven years ago." Suzaku smiled, but Lelouch looked a bit upset so he just changed the subject. "So, whatever happened to that girl?"

"I'm not sure. We got separated during the fray, but you would know more about that, wouldn't you?"

Suzaku looked down. "No. The only ones who really knew anything were the inner circle of the Royal Guard."

"I see..."

"And your name... Do I still call you Lelouch?" Suzaku asked.

"The records account my own identity as among the dead. I go by the name Lelouch Lamperouge now."
