Alesana POV...

As I looked up at the huge clock hanging on the wall that read 4:15 PM I noticed that only five fucking minutes had passed since the last time I checked. It seemed like time was having too much fun at my expense. Picking up my cell phone off of the desk I checked to make sure that it was on and working properly.

"Tiffany, has anyone called for me while I was out at this morning meeting? I asked as soon as she picked up the phone.

"No sir! Tiffany answers, sounding confused. "Mr. Wong, did you have another meeting scheduled for today that I had forgotten to write down in my planner? She then asked nervously.

"No, it's nothing like that, it's just that someone was supposed to call me about a personal matter," I say put in her mind at ease. My cell phone rang as soon as I hung up the office phone. "What took you so damn long to call? I speak into the phone without even looking at the caller ID.

"Well hello to you too Alesana." My annoying little sister's voice sounded off through the phone receiver.

"Damn it is just you Yuna! I grumbled into the phone disappointed and mad as hell.

"Whoa, who has your panties all in a bunch? Yuna asked while laughing at my discomfort.

"Nobody! I snapped when I began to imagine that something terrible has happened to Zoey and Lil man.

"Alesana happy people don't go around snapping at their little sister for no damn reason at all! Yuna replies with an attitude of her own. 

"Yuna, is there an important reason for you to be calling me while you're in your sociology class? I asked after looking down at my watch and pinching the bridge of my nose between my fingertips.

"Since you ask I need to borrow a few hundred dollars to carry me throughout the rest of this week," Yuna answers me back quickly.

"Don't tell me that you've already spent the $1,500 that Mom and Dad gave to you two days ago." I angrily spat out while tapping my fingers against the desk furiously.

"That little money that they give me every week for allowance is just chump change, Alesana! Yuna says, sounding offended with my statement.

"Yuna you're going to have to learn to be more responsible with the money that they give you freely," I respond then hangs up the phone before she could say anything else.

I began to stroll through my phone until I got to Zoey's name after I noticed that the time was now 4:59. I began to massage my left temple while waiting for her to answer the damn phone.

"Hello! I hear her speak sleepily into the phone.

"Woman do you have any idea what time it is? I barked into the phone. 

"Should I care about what time it is? She asked groggily.

"You were supposed to have called me before 5 pm to let me know what you have decided to do about Lil man," I say into the phone.

"Oh sorry about that I was a little too busy taking care of a baby to be worried about calling someone that isn't even his dad! Zoey retorts flippantly.

"What did you just say to me? I blurted out right when I heard her doorbell ring.

"Hold on just a minute Mr. Jackass," Zoe tells me as I assume she was heading to the front door.
