Alesana POV...

I was nervous as heck when Zoey and I pulled into the yard of her parent's fantastic French-style home. Serval cars were lined up along the expansive driveway. "Relax babe, my family is going to love you," Zoey says then pats me affectionately on my knee. After wiping my sweaty palms on my black denim jeans. I unbuckled my seat belt, then walked around to the passenger side opening the door for Zoey.

She leaned up on her tiptoes and pecked me on my lips then intertwined her fingers with mine. Zoey Nana swung the fiberglass door wide open, then engulfed me into a big hug right when I was about to ring the doorbell. As we entered the foyer of the house loud, friendly, and manly laughter greeted us. This atmosphere was a Stark difference in my parents' dinner get-together. It was like comparing a stale, boring surrounding to one filled with laughter, warmth, and an inviting presence.

When we entered the living room I saw four women sitting down and chatting. Two of the older women were sitting on opposite ends of a red loveseat holding a set of twins. A much younger woman sat on an off-white sofa holding Kaede while the other woman sat in an armchair that seemed to swallow her petite frame. A few seconds later a tall, well-built man walked into the living room followed by four other men laughing hysterically. The men instantly fell quiet when they saw me. Their actions made me a bit more nervous than I already was.

"Hi, daddy," Zoey says to the first man as she walks over to him, then kisses him on his cheek.

"Hey, baby girl." Her dad replies while never taking his eyes off me.

"Don't worry about them. Once you get to know them you'll find out that they're all just big, soft teddy bears that love to scare people with their commanding presence." The younger female tells as she gets up off the sofa. "I'm Zoey's younger sister Leah and this amazing man right here is my husband Niels Bordeaux," she adds while pulling a man that was slightly shorter than the other three men over to where I stood. Right, when she finished talking a beautiful woman walked into the living room with a navy blue apron wrapped around her waist.

"Why didn't anyone come to tell me that our guest had arrived." She asked out loud while hugging and greeting her daughter warmly.

"Mom, dad this is Alesana," Zoey says to her parents while grabbing me by the hand and pulling me over towards the crowd. "Alesana these are my parents, my dad, Alex, and Audrey Larson." She introduces us.

"It's nice to meet you Alesana," Mrs. Larson says then pulls me into an affectionate hug while her husband just shook my hand stiffly.

"The beautiful lady sitting on the far end of the sofa from us is my aunt Vivian and the tall, handsome gentlemen standing next to her is her husband Brian Thomas." Zoey then announces.

"Hi, I'm Malcolm Wesley, and this is my gorgeous wife Gina." A man greeted me as he stood at the opposite end of the sofa where a stunning woman whom he had just introduced as his wife sat.

"I'm Katie and this big teddy bear here is my husband Derek Johnson." A slender, beautiful woman says as she stands up from the armchair and walks over to a gentleman who was glaring at me. The other three women hugged me warmly while their husbands gave me the same kind of handshake as Zoey's dad did.
