Alesana POV…

Arriving at the sturdy security of my cozy two-bedroom, two-bath home, adorned with a meticulously maintained lawn, I entered the security code into the keypad. I parked my car in one of the two garages adjacent to the house and retrieved Kaede from the back seat. With Kaede in my arms, I proceeded to open Zoey's car door.

"Wow, I'm surprised your house isn't some extravagant, overpriced mansion!" Zoey exclaimed, her voice filled with astonishment.

"Why would I need one?" I asked, trying to discern her perception of me.

"Well, most wealthy and uppity people I know love to flaunt their money. And the easiest way to do that is by purchasing enormous, expensive houses!"

"Well, you'll soon realize that I'm not like most wealthy and uppity individuals," I responded, gesturing for her to enter the house first.

"Yeah, sure, if you say so," she muttered, her words just loud enough for me to hear.

My home might look small on the outside, but  Once inside, the open floor plan created a sense of unity and harmony throughout the space. The entire house was adorned in a luxurious beige paint, complemented by gleaming hardwood floors that stretched from room to room. Delicate circular lights illuminated every corner, casting a warm glow.

The living room was a sight to behold, with a remarkable feature that stole the show. A built-in fish tank, brimming with exotic species, dominated an entire wall, captivating anyone who laid eyes on it. Nestled beneath a sleek black leather loveseat and an elegant oak coffee table, a plush beige area rug added a touch of comfort. Its design showcased a larger-than-life male jaguar, exuding a sense of power and grace. Above the oak fireplace, a handcrafted photo frame proudly displayed a matching female jaguar picture.

Adjacent to the living room, my personal study served as a tranquil retreat. It was Positioned between the living area and the kitchen, an exquisite oak double door with oval glass window panes led the way. Behind a sleek black desk, I found solace in this space, surrounded by knowledge and inspiration.

On the other side of the kitchen, a hidden gem awaited. An indoor swimming pool lounge beckoned, offering a haven of relaxation and entertainment. Complete with a minibar, it was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the pleasures of life.

As she took in the splendor of my home, her voice filled with awe and admiration. "Wow, your home is truly spectacular!" she exclaimed, unable to contain her excitement. She spun around in a triad of circles, reveling in the beauty that surrounded her.

With a sense of pride swelling within me from her compliment, I couldn't help but beam back at her. The look of approval etched openly upon her beautiful face only fueled my joy. "Thank you," I replied, my voice filled with genuine appreciation. Carefully placing Kaede's car seat on the floor beside the loveseat, I eagerly took hold of her hand and guided her toward the kitchen, eager to show her around my cherished home. The touch of her soft hand entwined with mine felt comforting, and the alluring scent of her perfume danced past my nose, teasing my senses.

Confidently, she spoke with absolute certainty, "I know that you didn't design this place."

Mesmerized by her captivating, blue, sparkling eyes and Unable to tear my gaze away from them, I asked, "Why do you say that?"

A warm smile graced her lips as she replied, "Because the place screams a woman's touch."

"Well, that's where you would be mistaken!" I retorted, a mischievous grin playing on my lips. "This entire house floor plan design, and even the furniture, was all my doing," I added, leaning in closer to her.
