KOKUSHIBO DIDN'T KNOW how he found himself in this situation. Just minutes ago he was walking mindlessly through the snow , right after a replenishing meal and now he found himself helping a blind human on her way home. She should have been dead the second he appeared, the moment his eyes laid on her, he should have drawn his sword and-

"If you don't mind me asking Mister,
what is your name?"

The male glanced at the blind young woman
who gazed at him with kind, polite grey eyes.

Kind, polite eyes.

It felt so..foreign. No one had looked upon
him like that in so long. He had been so accustomed to the looks of terror plastered on people's faces once they stared at him, the shouts and cries . The names.

But never once, a delicate smile as hers.

So pleasent...and warm.

"Kokushibo. My name..is Kokushiho."

Her glossy eyes lit up and her smile grew.

The woman led the upper moon unto a small hill, a small house not so far from where they stood.

"Thank you Kokushibo San." She bowed, taking her belongings from his grasp. "You are very kind." He watched as her figure move farther away from him, and just before she could enter her house-

"Wait!" The woman halted her actions before
veering around to the male.

"You never...gave me...your name."

The woman's face contorted into surpris
before letting out a small chuckle.

"Y/N." She uttered softly, cold air escaping
her lips. "My name is Y/N." Y/N replied before entering her home and closing the wooden door with a soft click.

Kokushibo stood there for a few moments, processing her words.

"Y/N." He repeated, her name rolling off
his tongue with little effort.

Y/N.

What a beautiful name.
