**at the hospital
Kevin: Betty thank god your here, you must have gotten the call. they just took her back
Betty: Kev what are you talking about?
Kevin: your mom, did they not call you?
*Betty runs past Kevin and Jughead
Betty: my mom is she okay??? PLEASE SOMEONE
nurse: miss please calm down. What's the patients name?
Betty*exasperated* Alice Smith
Nurse: they are working on her, internal bleeding
Betty*falls on the ground and breaks down
*Jughead runs over to her and picks her up then takes her outside*
Jughead: Betts she is gonna be okay, i promise
Betty: just like you promised you would never leave me or how people promise things they don't mean. I should have been here with her
Jughead: Betty you didn't know
Betty's POV: i can tell that Jughead is trying to help but he is just making it worse. I should have been here with her instead of goofing off with him
Jughead: Betts you have to have faith that's she is gonna pull through
Betty: yeah but i should have been here with her, instead of playing around with you
Jughead: Betty
Betty: Jug just go home or run away whatever. You don't need to worry about me
Jughead: Betty i'm not leaving you
Betty*mutters* yeah but you will
Jughead: is that really what you think?
Betty: JUG WHAT AM I SUPPOSE TO THINK???
Jughead*puts his hand on her shoulder* please calm down
Betty*pushes his hand away* i'm going inside where i should have been all this time
Jughead's POV: i should have gone after her but i didn't. i just watched her walk away shocked by what just happened. That's when i knew what to do with 100% clarity. I just needed to run somewhere real quick so i get out my phone and tell veronica what i'm doing. For once i'm not running away but i'm going to start something better
Betty's POV: Once i'm inside i spot Kevin but he gives me a look. I stand there for a minute until i realize Kevin is telling me too go back outside and for once i agree. i run back through the double doors to where i was with Jug just minutes before but he's gone. I look around the parking lot and see him. He's leaving, once again he has got on his motorcycle and left me. i fall to my knees and weep. My tears come out hot and i can't make them stop. It's like every emotion i have ever felt is just coming out. I just sit there on my knees and cry until i feel someone behind me.
Veronica: B what's wrong?
Betty: V he left, my mom isn't okay. EVERYTHING IS WRONG
*Veronica hugs Betty tightly
Veronica: it's gonna be okay, just trust me
Betty's POV: instead of saying anything i just nod, crying into her until i have no more tears left
