Grabbing the file out of the drawer in my desk, I handed the entire thing back to him. He took it not even desiring the thing. The feeling of his hand still wrapped around my tie was there. Id never saw him ever like that. It was much like the way Alexi got when he became triggered by past events.

"What is your decision, Jackson? I need to know if I'm packing my shit or not."
"Touch one of those boxes and I'll have him blown off the face of the earth."
"Is that your way of saying you will leave him alone?"
"For now, He even so much calls you, I'm murdering him."
"Your behaviour is extreme and intensively toxic."
"Thank you, any other observations Dr. Martin?"
"I have many, But here is not the place to talk about them."
"Understood."
"The place we should talk about them is in my office."

I raised my eyebrow at him,

"Are you suggesting I go get help from the resident shrink?"
"Perhaps I am, you have anger issues among other things."
"That's mighty coming from someone who moments ago tried to use my thousand dollar tie to choke the life out of me," I said matter of factly
"Hey, I didn't say I didn't have issues, mine are medicated, Thank you."
"Well, I don't think they are working."
"They do, just not here. Too many perpetually angry mafia men."

I wanted to snicker but now didn't seem to be the right time. More so now that he was already pissed by something I had done. Let us not add any more fuel to that fire, or at least not all at once. Zev didn't make any moves to leave my office even after we talked and he got his file back. Instead, he sat on the corner of my desk and just observed everything I was doing. Looking back at him he only scowled at me. I could acknowledge that I could have handled things much better but I didn't at all desire to do that. I was deluded by anger and something not quite jealousy but something pretty comparable. It was because he had demanded to save the man that hurt him seriously, better yet, tried to kill him. That wasn't ok with me at all. I undividedly wanted him to be mine, just for me, myself and I. I knew it was self-indulgent but I couldn't shake the need to have him as mine. He had made it apparent a relationship with me was not something he could have, but here I was. The doctor had my complete attention and that was odd to me. The mother of my child hadn't even been this mind trapping when she gave me Rosie. When it came to her Rosie was the only thing I wanted.

Zev cleared his throat making me look at him.

"I want an apology from you Jackson."

"Alright."

I looked at Zev for a few more seconds, watching him. He didn't move.

"I'm sorry for my behaviour."

"Thank you."

A few hours later, Zev, Rosie and I were sat around the table waiting on the homemade pizza we had all chipped in to help make. Zev looked a lot happier with me now that I had apologized. But he didn't say if he would be coming back to the bedroom. Nothing was stranger then him not being in my bed after all the time he was now. When the oven timer went off Zev took Rosie to wash her hands before dinner and I pulled the pizza out. Rosie and Zev returned just as I finished cutting the steaming pizza's. Rosie was super excited about homemade pizza, she could hardly sit still. I had the urge to tell her to sit still and behave at the table but I could understand why she was happy, She wanted to eat the pizza she had helped make. All I did was cut and shred the ingredients well Zev and Rosie decorated the pizza however they saw fit.

"You stay here at the table Rosie, I'll grab you a slice of the masterpiece we made."

"Ok!"

Zev stood up in one fluid graceful movement and went to get Rosie pizza. He brought back a slice for himself and hers. Rosie looked at me with her sweet little wide green eyes and spoke.

"You are having some right Daddy? We spent so much time on it!"
"Of course I'll have some."
Getting up I went to grab a few slices and put them on a plate. The pizza looked really good, It was very appealing to my eyes. Setting the plate on the table, I sat down. Rosie watched me as I took the first bite of the pizza.

"Do you like it, daddy!"
"It's very delicious," I said after finishing chewing the bite that was in my mouth. Rosie looked very pleased with my answer and smiled widely. The pizza was very good. It had a balance of spices, toppings and cheese. I could eat this shit every day for the rest of my life, Though I would definitely have to work out to keep my fit figure after that. Zev had tomato sauce the side of his mouth and before I could stop myself I reached over and wiped the side of his mouth with my thumb. His cheeks went light pink as he cleared his throat. Rosie hadn't even been paying attention to my actions, she was too busy inhaling her pizza treat. Licking the sauce off my thumb had made Zev very pink then.

"Excuse me. I need to grab a drink."

He stood up and briskly walked away from the table and went and got himself a cold glass of water. The good doctor was pretty flustered by my actions and it was amusing to me. I really wasn't sure why I found it amusing though. The sick side of me enjoyed watching his face turn bright pink. I seemed to be slowly developing an obsession with the good doctor. At this point, I was unsure if that would be good or bad for the both of us.
