Rosie and I headed back to our place around four p.m. I did have some paperwork and stuff I had to do today, but I pushed it off for another day because I had the current issue to deal with. I hoped Jackson would be ok with my family, or at least my nieces if they did have to come live with us. Jackson would be back around six for dinner and I had planned to give rise to a full course meal of roast beef, mashed potatoes, carrots and peas, along with a masterpiece of Yorkshire pudding. It was something I tried to make at least once a year since it was one of the only things that I took from my family. I hoped that Jackson would enjoy the meal I prepared. I knew he was going to be whiney about the potatoes as the main vegetable. But he would have to get over it because I didn't care. I liked eating my body weight in mashed potatoes.

Rosie and I played well the food cooked. I loved this little girl, she was so precious and I had grown so attached to her. I would do anything for this little girl.

"Daddy will be home soon Zev!"

"Oh yeah? How do you know that?"

"Daddy always comes home when this tv show is over!"

"Are you sure?"

"I'm positive!"

"I think your right, It's close to six now. Daddy will be home anytime."

Rosie sat on the couch and watched her shows well I checked on dinner. Everything was done and just staying warm in the oven. I could feel my nerves as my stomach fluttered. I knew I was overreacting over the whole thing but it was hard to tell my nerves that. I was pretty sure I paced between the kitchen and the living room until Jackson came home.

"I'm back."

"Daddy!"

Rosie came running from the living room right to her daddy. He acted like he hadn't seen her in months.

"Oh my heavens, it's been forever since I saw you last my sweet little girl!"

"I saw you this morning."

"That's forever."

"Nah."

It made me smile to watch the interaction. Jackson was so good to that little girl, he was a great father. I could praise him day in and day out for his parenting skills. Jackson turned his attention to me after he told Rosie to go watch cartoons for a few moments more. He pulled me against him and kissed me deeply. I returned his kiss with all the passion he had shown me.

"What was that for?" I asked, touching my lips.

"You looked as if you needed some of my love too."

"I did and still do."

"Good, You can have all my loving."

"Good deal. How about dinner?"

"That sounds good. I'm starving."

"Good, I cooked a ton of food."

"Onward to dinner."

Well, I pulled everything out of the oven Jackson went and helped Rosie wash up for dinner. I took a moment to myself to take a deep breath and tell myself that everything would be ok. Even if Jackson couldn't take on the responsibility of more children. Setting all the pots on the potholders I pulled the plates and forks out setting them on the table. I was worried he would be upset by me suddenly springing this on him, but I did have some faith that it would work out.

Jackson and Rosie returned. Jackson looked over the entire table at the spread of food.

"Everything here smells and looks great. I could eat my body weight in all of this."
"I'm glad to hear that. I wasn't sure if you would eat all this."
"I will eat anything you make. I'm not a finicky eater. Besides junk food, as you are aware."
