AUTHOR'S POV
Bolognese with garlic bread, baked ziti in creamy white sauce, BLT sandwich, hot artisanal chocolate, caramel latte, white mocha Frappuccino and three Vante were aesthetically displayed on the table where Jungkook and his "clients" were seated. He was supposed to go there with Mr. Lee and his team, but they had to reschedule the meeting for emergency reasons. So, Jungkook managed to drag Namjoon and his husband, Jimin, to Sweet Destiny Café to pretend as his "clients". He wanted to see Jin badly that he did not cancel his reservation.
"Jungkook, if we are pretending to have a meeting here, at least, make it more believable. Your eyes are glued to Seokjin as if we are not around." Namjoon hissed to Jungkook who was utterly spaced out.
Jimin chuckled at the scene. "Let him be, sweetie. This is such an amusing sight. Just look at him, the very arrogant Jungkook staring at his man like a lovestruck teenager. This is so funny."
Jungkook was indeed like a lovestruck teenager who can't take off his eyes from his crush. In Jungkook's eyes, everything moved in slow motion: the way Jin gracefully paced from one place to another, his hair waved slowly as he turned his head, his plump lips elegantly opening and closing when talking to someone. Jungkook was lost in paradise and all he could hear were sweet chirping of birds. His heart fluttered in euphoria.
After their "meeting" which actually did not happen, Namjoon and Jimin went ahead leaving a smitten Jungkook who was leaning on the counter. "Hi babe, how are you feeling?"
"Jungkook, stop calling me babe." Jin pouted. "And is it okay for you to be here? Your clients went out already."
Adorable. Jungkook was so amused to see Jin pout. He wanted to pinch his cheeks and peck those inviting lips.
"They'll be okay. I was just teasing you. You look adorable when you pout. So, how are you feeling?" Jungkook's voice was soft and soothing.
Jin can't help but blush and stutter with his response, "A bit—a bit bet-ter... umm.. Thank you—thank you for comforting me last night."
"That's good to hear. You're welcome. Anything for you. By the way, I have something for you."
A large sized paper bag was placed on the counter. One by one, Jungkook removed the contents of the bag: several eye serums, eye masks, a pink BT21 bunny plushie, scented candles and chamomile tea.
"I bought you eye serum and eye masks for your puffy eyes. And, this is Cooky, hug this plushie whenever you feel down. But if ever you want the real thing, you can call me and I'm more than willing to cuddle you. I also have here scented candles and chamomile tea to help you relax your nerves. And I will also send you my music playlist tonight, so that you can listen to it. It would make you feel better."
Overwhelmed was an understatement to define how Jin felt. He did not expect an arrogant Jungkook to be this sweet and caring.
"Jungkook, thank you but this is too much. I can't---"
"Please accept them. I'm not asking anything in return." Jungkook reassured Jin.
Truly, he did not want anything in return. Thinking about last night made Jungkook worry. And as much as he wanted to be in Jin's apartment every night, Jin would find that creepy as they were still strangers.
"Ok, thank you." Jin responded. "Jungkook, I have to be honest with you. Regarding your intentions, I can't entertain any dates right now. If you have noticed, I'm quite an emotional mess. I realized I need some time alone to sort my feelings."
Healing is what he truly needs.
"Don't worry. I understand, Jin. I will not bother you in one month."
"One month?" Jin was confused.
"You can have your alone time for one month. After one month, I will court you and you can't stop me from doing that. Also, this does not mean that I will stop texting you for one month. I will still text you every day. You don't have to reply to me." Jungkook, as always, can be demanding.
"If you won't bother me in one month, then why will you still text me?"
"Because I want you to feel that there is someone who cares for you."
Jungkook grinned before leaving a dumbfounded Jin.

For one month, Jin explored several ways to heal. He did yoga, cooked new recipes, ate delicious food, watched random movies and occupied himself with work. He also deactivated his personal social media accounts. Constantly, he receives text messages from Jungkook:
Jungkook
Here's my music playlist. I hope these songs can make you feel better.
JK special playlist for Jin:
It's not easy (Superman)- Five for fighting
Our lives- The calling
Fix you- Coldplay
The reason- Hoobastank
I'll be- Edwin McCain
Jungkook
Good morning, sleepy head. It's a brand-new day. Smile always. You're a lot prettier when you smile.
Jungkook
Eat well. Do not skip meals. Drink your vitamins. I don't want my future boyfriend to be sick.
Jungkook
Wow! You survived another day. See, you are a lot stronger than you think. Good night and sweet dreams. Dream of good things. You can dream of me because I always dream of you.
Jungkook
Yehey! One month is almost over. Be prepared because I WILL SOON SWEEP YOU OFF YOUR FEET. <3
Annoying. Jin softly smiled upon reading the messages which were almost a hundred. He hates to admit but Jungkook's annoying messages helped him feel better.

One weekend, Hoseok and Yoongi invited Jin for a fishing escapade. They went to Geum River.
Fishing was another great healing activity. The tranquility of just standing there waiting for a fish to eat the bait on a hook had helped tamed the chaos in his head.
After hours of waiting, there was a sudden violent movement from Jin's fishing rod. A fish took the hook. So, Jin set it by pulling fairly sharply on the rod.
"Wow, Jin! That's a Jongeo, a rare breed of fish living here in Geum River. It has almost been non-existent since 1982. Imagine out of the fishes in this river, you caught the best! Luck is on your side!" Hoseok excitedly yelled.
Rare... Best....
Jin was ecstatic to know that he caught such a rare breed from the river. At the same time, the thought of it being rare made Jin hesitate to keep it. In a worried voice, he said, "If it's rare, don't you think it is too precious to be placed in the water bucket?"
"Well, that fish was meant to be caught by you, but it is always your choice to keep it." Yoongi blankly responded.
Meant to be... my choice to keep... These words were like parts of the fishing rod that pulled Jin from the depths of his thoughts.
There was a faint realization that flickered in his eyes.
