It took two weeks for Jungkook to finally make sense out of Mr. Yang's words. These words sank deeply into his system, making him contemplate on his actions.
For the first time, he messed up.
He messed up big time.
He began to realize that what he did was not a well-thought of plan.
Now, he has to do something to straighten out the shits he has done.
He knew he was caught in a dilemma of piling up his guilt or torturing himself with insecurity. Either way, he would still deal with agonizing thoughts. Either way, he would still accept the possible future consequences of his actions. Either way, he would still face the reality that as his feelings for Jin grows stronger, so does his fear of losing him. Either way, he had to be ready for the possibility that Jin might leave him.
More guilt or more insecurities? He chose the lesser evil.
After two weeks, Jungkook withdrew his strategy of monitoring Taehyung. He stopped tracking the doctor's phone, hacking his emails or checking on his whereabouts.
For someone who longs for assurance and stability, it was a risk.
From now on, anything can happen.
Anything can happen anywhere and at any time.
All he could hope and pray was for him and Jin to have more chance to get to know each other well and perhaps fall deeper before that time comes.

After returning to Seoul, Jin and Jungkook have been seeing a lot more often. Mostly because they had to prepare for the upcoming board of directors meeting.
At first, they settled working at Sweet Destiny Café. But for more privacy and professionalism, Jungkook insisted that they work in his office.
It was Jin's first time entering his boyfriend's office. The room was modern and minimalistic, with black, white and grey dominating the area. There were subtle traces of gold in certain parts giving the whole office a classy look. The wide glass windows at the back of the executive chair screamed empowerment as it gives you the feeling of being on top of the world.

"Have a seat" Jungkook offered Jin a spot in his luxurious couch, "Like what you see?"
"ummm.." Jin shyly hummed, "yeah."
They both sat on both ends of the couch, an awkward gap between them.
After what happened in Busan and Daegu, there was slight tension between them. Although they spent their nights cuddling and kissing, there were still moments where they felt a bit awkward to each other. It was normal between couples though, especially that it was their first major fight.
