AUTHOR'S POV

=== THIRD MONTH OF DATING ===

Jungkook and Jin were already dating for eleven weeks, almost three months. They have grown a lot more comfortable with each other, but not too comfortable to move on to the next stages of intimacy. Believe it or not, they had not started reaching any of the four sexual bases (with exception to the night when they accidentally made-out due to Jin's emotional mess). However, it was undeniable that the sexual tension between them were building up. Anytime, it was going to blow up.

It was Saturday and they were supposed to be out for an adventure. However, Jin insisted that they had to work on the drink that would perfectly match his famous strawberry cupcakes. It was already the fifth month since his café had opened, and one more month before the presentation to the board of directors. His café was actually already doing good. His sales increased dramatically over the months. The positive trend was credited for his few new delicacies, the growing popularity of Vante and of course his dating news with Jungkook. Being the most sought bachelor of Korea and #1 business tycoon, Jungkook was quite popular. He had this social influence. Everybody wanted to experience a piece of his life. And Jin's café was part of that.

"Babe, we've been doing this for the past two weeks. I can't believe we cancelled our hot spring date for this. I was looking forward for a heated session with you in a hot, relaxing bath of groundwater." Jungkook whined. "And your café is already doing fine, by the way."

Jin simply shook his head and continued mixing ingredients for his drink. For the past months of dating Jungkook, he got used to his sweet yet perverted advances. "I can feel that this is going to be a successful one, Jungkook. Just a little more and this would be good."

"Yeah, right... like who wants to drink bitter melon?" Jungkook shrugged off his shoulder.

"Bitter melon has a lot of health benefits, Jungkook. Aside from that, its bitter taste can balance the sweetness of Vante cupcakes, and..." Jin refuted,

Without sparing Jungkook a look, Jin added some words of wisdom "Just like life. Life is a mix of bitter and sweet moments. There will be sad and happy moments. For example, my life was bitter before you came, but now, I guess it got a lot sweeter. I'm not saying it is going to be like this forever. Along the way, there will always be bad experiences, but you can't also deny the fact that there will be good experiences. The bad helps bring out the good in you. There's a balance."

Hearing these words from Jin brought amusement to Jungkook. It was a good sign that Jin had finally started changing his mindset. If it was the old Jin, he would say that his life was destined to be bitter or tragic.

Feeling happy with Jin's slight progress, Jungkook slowly strolled towards him. He surprised him by seizing his arm, turning him towards him and wrapping his arms around his waist. Their faces were just an inch apart, making Jin blush.

"I like what you said." Jungkook grinned while staring at Jin dearly. He noticed a glow in Jin's eyes.

Jin curled his lips up, making his cheeks puffy and his eyes form crescent moons. "Thank you. I owe this to you, Jungkook. You have taught me a lot of lessons in life. Our conversations inspired me to be better."

"You owe this to yourself Jin, not to me. I may be a catalyst of your change, but it was you who decided to make a move in changing your mindset."

Time seemed to stop for a while as they continued to stare at each other with tender eyes.

The pause was not long though. What happened next surprised Jungkook, causing him to jerk up and let his arms fall to his side.

A smack on the lips... Yes, Jin pecked his lips, and walked away in a rush.
