AUTHOR'S POV
It was Friday, almost a week after the intense tension and the new-found intimacy between Jungkook and Jin. The Sunday after the incident, they were still chilling in Jungkook's penthouse but spiced it up with a lot of foreplays. The weekdays after were still embellished with Jungkook's sweet and naughty text messages and cards, bouquets and more phone calls.
However, today was different. Jungkook has not texted Jin this morning, which made him worried. He texted and called Jungkook, but there was no reply. He gathered his courage and decided to check on Jungkook before going to the café.
Jin was about to grab his car keys, when he heard the sound of the doorbell and loud knocks.
Opening the door, a delivery man beamed his bright smile, holding a thin box wrapped with purple packaging. "Special delivery for Mr. Kim Seokjin."
He received the package and scanned it to see who it was from. There was no name of the sender. He opted to ask the delivery man, but the guy went away already.
Must be from Jungkook, Jin thought. He went to the living room and sat on his couch. Tearing the packaging with anticipation, Jin's eyes went wide. Beneath the packaging was a book entitled The Elephant Vanishes by Haruki Murakami, with a cardboard bookmark designed with strawberries inserted in it and a silver CD enclosed in a plastic case, with handwritten words, Waiting.
His cellphone suddenly rang, disturbing him from his curiosity. It was a call from Hoseok.
"Jin, you need to be here in the café, now! Emergency! About Jungkook."
The panic voice from Hoseok caused anxiety to Jin. He wanted to ask the details but the call was cut off.
Without wasting time, Jin rushed to the door and drove hurriedly towards the café.
Upon reaching the café which was still not yet opened, he saw a distressed Hoseok on the counter.
"Hoseok, what happened?" Jin ran towards his friend.
"Jungkook... came... kidnap."
Kidnapped? Jin tried to make sense with what he had heard, "What? Jungkook is.. was..."
Big hands suddenly covered his mouth and pulled his waist. His back bumped into a firm chest, causing Jin to close his eyes and internally panicked.
"Jungkook is..." The man's voice was cold and threatening. Jin was shaking.
"Jungkook is..." The man continued. "... going... to... kidnap... YOU"
After hearing the words, Jin became completely baffled. The man swiftly turned him around, pulled him to his chest and pecked his lips.
"JJUUNNGGKKOOKK!!"
Boisterous laughter filled the quiet café.
"Hi, babe." Jungkook playfully spoke.
"I HATE YOU!"
"I love you, too."
"What the hell?" Jin was definitely mad, with eyebrows knitted and lips pouted which actually turned out to be adorable. "And you, Hoseok?"
His assistant manager/friend simply chuckled, "Sorry, Jin. I had to support the man. I am for Team Jungkook-Seokjin forever! Mr. Jeon, you may kidnap Jin now. Please return him only after he gets too sore from your steamy sessions. And my dearest friend, Jin, don't worry about your house. I have your passcode, so I can check on it from time to time. I will even clean it for you. I just want you to be happy and enjoy your sexcapades... I mean... escapades with your man."
