TAEHYUNG'S POV

"Taehyung?..."

You are beautiful... still as beautiful as when I first met you...

Would you find it weird if I say that I miss you?

"Taehyung?..."

Your voice is crystal clear. It sounds so heavenly.

I want to hear it everyday, before I sleep and when I wake up in the morning.

" Taehyung?... Hello? Earth to Taehyung?... TAEHYUNG!!!"

I snapped from my daze. I could not believe I am seeing him again. I regained my consciousness and beamed my wide boxy smile.

"JIN! Oh Hi! How are you? I'm glad you still remember me. I'm so glad to see you."

"Hello, Taehyung. I'm okay. I'm glad to see you too." Jin said shyly. Adorable. "Would you like some coffee? Or cupcakes?"

"Cupcakes. I don't think I need coffee. Seeing you right now is enough for my heart to palpitate."

I could not believe I had the courage to say that. I'm glad I did because I got to see Jin blush so hard. His whole face, neck and ears are turning red. Charming.

"Speaking of cupcakes, I want you to try something. Find a seat and I'll prepare them for you."

I nodded. I walked around and found a seat near the glass windows, just like the place when we first met. From afar, I could watch Jin keeping himself busy as he prepared the cupcakes for me.

I can wait for you.

Once done, he walked towards me bringing a tray of what seemed to be strawberry cupcakes. He gently placed it on the coffee table and sat across me displaying his beautiful smile.

"I kept my promise. I present to you, Vante! This is the bestseller of my café. People are going crazy for this. C'mon take a bite."

"WOW, Jin! I can't express how happy I am. I have a cupcake named after me!! I'm sure it is going to taste so delicious... like me." I winked at him and he blushed even more.

I love seeing you blush.

"So, how was it?"

I took a bite and was in awe of how amazing it tastes. "This tastes so heavenly, Jin! Words are not enough to describe how good this is. Congratulations for successfully making the best cupcake in the world!"

"Oh, shut it." Jin looked down. His face was burning with shyness. Very cute. "How's life, Taehyung?"

"Life is pretty good. I am a doctor now. I have a stable job. My relationship with my dad is okay. No more angst between us."

"That's great! How long will you stay here? When are you going back to the states?"

Surprised was an understatement. How did he know that I was living in the states?

"How did you know, Jin? How did you know that I left for the states? Were you stalking me?" I teased him.

Jin was caught off guard. He was anxious. He was acting as if he accidentally blurted out a secret.

"I kind of... like...checked your social media account." His voice was shaking. "But it was not always. Just a few times and I stopped when...... I stopped already." He was very defensive. I felt guilty for finding it so endearing.
