Daegu Mental Faculty was spread in a huge area . Each of the four buildings had three storeys each and were divided into various wards and sections . The grey walls deeply contrasted with the bright and beautiful garden that had variety of colorful flowers and trees alongside lush grass displayed like a soft green blanket that was shimmering beneath the scorching sun . As soon as Taehyun entered through the gates , he was tackled on the ground by Yeonjun who embraced Taehyun in a bone crushing hug . " Oh Taehyunnie it has been such a long time . I missed you so much . Come I will show you the faculty . " Taehyun fake smiled at the older and said ," I missed you too hyung . Let's go now , I should be familiar with my workplace afterall . " Yeonjun nodded and flashed a bright smile before grabbing Taehyun's arm and taking him in . Taehyun looked around and saw many patients roaming around the garden each of them assigned to a particular nurse that looked after them . Suddenly bright laughter erupted from somewhere and Taehyun saw a tall patient running around while squealing in excitement as a nurse chased him muttering a few curses here and there . " Oh don't mind him. Huening Kai is the naughtiest patient here , always being a pain in the ass for the whole staff especially for his beautiful nurse Yeji . " Yeonjun remarked and Taehyun found the scene quite amusing . He asked ," What he suffers from ? " " Maniac Depression or bipolar disorder " Yeonjun answered . " A condition in which a person moods elevate drastically from extreme high ( hyperactive ) to very low ( depressed ) . "
Taehyun was surprised to hear that but he remained quiet as they stumbled ahead and that was when Yeonjun waved enthusiastically at a patient before calling out ," Soobin ....Soobin . " The said patient turned around and greeted them with a warm smile and waved back sheepishly as he resumed his task of watering the flowers . Yeonjun grinned foolishly and blurted out ," That's Choi Soobin , my patient , it's so sad he has Dissociative Personality Disorder after he lost his family in a major accident . There is his one more personality but I hope you never meet that one . " Taehyun glared suspiciously at Yeonjun who still had his gaze fixed on Soobin before he jolted him harshly and they continued walking . Yeonjun introduced him to many more doctors and hospital staff and guided him through different wards and buildings before they ventured back to the garden chatting randomly about something . Taehyun eyes wandered aimlessly till they settled on a boy sitting alone on a bench studying a butterfly curiously . Taehyun eyebrows quirked in swift interest and he inquired , " Who is he ? " Yeonjun followed Taehyun's gaze and frowned when he recognized the boy and said in a pensive tone , " That is Choi Beomgyu , the longest patient admitted in our faculty . I was about to introduce you to him later . He is your patient . " Taehyun eyes widened as he gaped confusingly at Yeonjun who explained , "Beomgyu has severe Schizophrenia . His parents admitted him here at the age of 11 after he violently harmed himself and declared that he saw some non- existent beings . No doctor has been capable of treating him , he is a unique case and not the best patient to deal with . Let me call him here ..." But Taehyun interrupted Yeonjun and mumbled , " No need for that . I like to familiarize myself with my patients before their treatment . This way the bond becomes stronger and friendlier . "
After that Taehyun advanced slowly towards Beomgyu who was crouched down to peer closely at the butterfly collecting sweet nectar from the daisy flower . Taehyun eyes lingered on the patient , his dark raven hair laid smoothly over his forehead almost hiding his eyes that were closely monitoring the colorful butterfly . He had a flawless sun- kissed skin , his pink tinted lips tugged upwards in a beautiful smile showcasing his shiny and white teeth . It was only when Taehyun was standing close enough that Beomgyu realized his presence and when he turned around , his eyes landed on Taehyun's hazel ones . Taehyun was hypothesized by the glittering silver orbs staring back at him but just in a heartbeat Beomgyu panickingly diverted his eyes from Taehyun focusing back on the flower . He completely ignored the presence of another around him trying his best to act as if Taehyun was invisible . Taehyun brows furrowed in confusion but he assumed that Beomgyu could be nervous or shocked but even after a long time when no words were exchanged between the two , Taehyun carefully approached his hand towards the other's back and patted his shoulder lightly . Beomgyu shuddered from the contact , flinching away and glancing back at Taehyun shockingly before muttering , " Oh , you are real . ? " Taehyun was bewildered on hearing the question and stuttered , " Yes , what have you expected ? " Beomgyu eyes widened comically and he blinked a few times before voicing out , " I just thought you were too beautiful to be a real human being . " Taehyun heart picked up pace and a light blush crept to his cheeks at the unexpected remark .
" And moreover ...." Beomgyu continued " These doctors would just have shoved an another bottle of pills in my hand if I told them I saw a gorgeous man today , reasoning it was my another fucking imagination . " Taehyun could clearly see the malice and sadness with which the other stated the last words . Taehyun reciprocated his next words before uttering nervously , " So.... I came to know that you see some weird things . " Taehyun feared that he will trigger Beomgyu but the latter acted quite the opposite by smirking a little and saying , " I would rather say weird people than things . " Taehyun snapped his head sideways to see Beomgyu staring at him and Taehyun aked , " What type of people ? " " Many people.... " Beomgyu replied ," One of them is a chocolate lady , she is kindest and sweetest of all . The second one is the Monster who feeds on flesh and blood of humans . I am terrified of him and the last one is a fairy who plays with me everyday . " Taehyun payed full attention to Beomgyu's rumbling noting his every single word at the back of his mind . Just then Beomgyu paused and glared curiously at Taehyun before asking ," But why are you so interested . " Taehyun sucked in a sharp breath not expecting the sudden question as he said , " That is because I am Kang Taehyun , your new psychiatrist . " Beomgyu mouth slacked open and his face twisted in disgust , his expressions hardening before he snickered loudly and scoffed , " New psychiatrist ......not for too long . Were you afraid I would throw you away like rest of my doctors . But I am sorry to tell you that you are wrong . Don't worry you will have a few days before we bid each other a fucking goodbye . Hope we don't meet anytime soon. . " Taehyun saw Beomgyu stomping away furiously and he just stood there dumbfound .
"He will be a hard one " Taehyun thought and sighed exhaustively .
