There was a suffocating silence hanging in the waiting area in which Taehyun simply gawked at his supposed mon who was gazing at him with the same loving smile from years ago . " Chocolate lady ..." Taehyun heard Beomgyu mumbling before the latter sprinted towards and embraced her in a tight hug . She grinned widely and wrapped her thin arms around Beomgyu petite frame remarking , " Chocolate lady ummm.....I like the name . How are you Beomgyu it has been such a long time . I knew you will grew up to be a handsome young man . " Beomgyu looked at her with his silver teary eyes and whined , " Where were you ? All people here kept telling me you are just my imagination . " Beomgyu paused suddenly when a thought struck him and his eyes commically widened when he asked , " Oh you are my Fairy's mother right ."
Taehyun peered up and saw his mother staring right at him with the same smile plastered on her face as she escaped from clutched of Beomgyu and trudged towards Taehyun . Taehyun Adams apple wobbled up and down as he swallowed the lump in his throat when his mother was only an inch apart from him as she sweetly whispered , " Taehyunnie ....." . That's when all the emotions flooded out all at once and Taehyun jumped forward to engulf his mother in a bone crushing embrace while sobbing loudly in her delicate arms . He felt her caressing his head as she used to do when he was a child and that only resulted in him whimpering louder as the familiar coconut scent blocked his senses . " Why ....? " Was the only thing Taehyun managed to stutter between gasps but she being his mother understood him at once and explained ,
" You never cared to wonder who would have called the police that day hmm ? After your father died I did the only thing that came to my mind and that was calling the police . That monster had committed a horrendous crime of molesting such a young soul if already assaulting me everyday was not enough . Honestly I wasn't even a tit bit upsent on seeing him lying lifeless on the floor , that Monster deserved it . My only concern was you and Beomgyu , you will be fine I was sure of it but Beomgyu here had nobody . That time I pledged to take his charge no matther what but for the time being I needed to save myself . Police would have probably assumed that Beomgyu had murdered your father but he would not be arrested being underage and moreover it was a defensive mechanism . The police should have looked into detail but who cares afterall ." Taehyun scrunched his face in confusion but a low whisper interrupted his stream of thoughts and only then did he remember the presence of Beomgyu in the room .
A tremor ran through his whole body as he jerked his head in his direction and found Beomgyu's golden hue to be replaced with a faded white and his unsteady gaze casted on Taehyun as he stammered , " Is Monster dead ? " Taehyun throat went dry as he found himself unable to answer anything but Beomgyu's pleading eyes were enough for him to open his mouth and blutter a faint , " YES . " Beomgyu shuddered like a leaf as warm tears cascaded down his pale face and a violent sob escaped his trembling lips . " How .....? " Beomgyu stuttered after sometime and Taehyun gulped nervously feeling his saliva sinking down his sandy throat . But he mumbled the words he knew would break down the boy , " You killed him that day ....." Beomgyu felt his knees giving up as he processed those words . He wanted Taehyun to crackle and say that this all was just a joke , he wanted him to flash his signature smirk and say that he was too innocent to even touch someone but sadly none of that happened . Taehyun 's had a blank expression on his face and that was an assurance to the crime he had committed. Beomgyu sprinted out of the room before Taehyun could stop him because he wanted to run away .....run away as far as he could before the truth chases and strangles him .
Taehyun as expected tried following him but a strong hand resisted him from doing so and he turned his head to see his mother glaring at him with her face hardened and her hands wrapped around his so tightly that they might leave bruises behind . " What have you said ? " Taehyun shivered at his mother's deep voice as he sheepishly answered , " I have to tell him someday . Truth can't be hidden for long . I saw with my own eyes the blood rushing out from my father's neck where Beomgyu had pierced the glass shred into his skin . I saw the his corpse wrapped in white sheet stained crimson . " Taehyun felt the grip loosening before his mother heaved a deep sigh and when he stared back into her soft brown eyes , her eyes reflected the distinct emotion of regret and guilt before she muttered , " So you saw the corpse right . Can you tell me which part of the sheet was drenched in blood ? "
Taehyun furrowed his brows trying to think harder and picturising the whole scene once again before he replied ," The whole front portion was scarlet red but why are you asking this ? " His mother snickered and sarcastically commented ," You never went through your father's post mortem reports ....did you . Otherwise you would have known that he was at stabbed a number of times directly into his guts before he died . " Taehyun eyes popped out after hearing the new information and his mind went buzzy , different scenarios running through it before he heard his mother remarking , " How could a small wound in neck could be enough to drench the whole sheets red ? He went unconscious when Beomgyu attackedd him because the glass had injured his oblongata but he was n't dead . You would have detected a faint pulse thrumming in his wrist. Beomgyu leaped into your room as soon as you left completely unaware that the Monster was alive and breathing downstairs .
" But not for long before I stabbed the blade ten times into him .....How could I miss my last chance for saving us all . " His mother mumbled non chalantly .
