Kang Taehyun , a renowned psychiatrist , who suffers everyday from his traumatic past has been assigned to a new patient , Choi Beomgyu who is said to have severe schizophrenia . Nobody was ever successful in treating Beomgyu which is a mystery for...
" How the fuck is that even possible !!! " Taehyun exclaimed angrily and threw all the files that landed squarely on the marble floor right ahead of Yeonjun who sat across him with a puzzled face . " I saw those marks myself and your nurse informed me you keep the records of self - harm or injury so why the hell the incident is not mentioned in any of them. "
Yeonjun exhaled a loud sigh before leaning closer and stating , " You said that those marks seemed quite old so they will probably not be in Beomgyu's recent records . And if it is neither mentioned in the remaining files then maybe this incident may have happened before he was admitted into the faculty . It is possible and maybe one of the reason forcing his guardians to send him here . "
Taehyun eyebrows almost reached his hairline at the shocking possibility . He assumed that it all began after Beomgyu's nightmare. Taehyun desperately wanted to know what that nightmare was that Beomgyu was not willing to share . Three loud knocks echoed in the room before the door opened revealing a nurse who while avoiding any eye-contact declared , " It's time for Group Therapy Session , patients are waiting for you two . "
Yeonjun brightened up at the news and grabbed Taehyun's hand both of them darting towards the designated room . Taehyun tried freeing his hand from the clutches of Yeonjun's arm but it only resulted in the other tightening his grasp around his fingers and joyfully chirping , " These Group Therapy Sessions are my favorite , patients get a chance for socializing with each other . I hope you will like it too . "
Taehyun did'nt even get to respond because they were already in front of a shiny steel door . Yeonjun bolted inside without warning taking Taehyun along him who tripped twice in the process . Before Taehyun could mutter some curses at Yeonjun he found himself face to face with at least twenty pair of eyes that were ogling at him .
He spotted a familiar pair of silver eyes too staring wide eyed at him . Beomgyu was sitting at the corner of the last row along with two more patients . He recognized one of them to be Huening Kai who was squealing excitedly and jumping up and down his seat while the patient beside him that was Soobin facepalmed himself and slapped Kai's head who whined in protest . Beomgyu seemed a lot quieter than other days .
" Hello everybody , I hope you all are doing great and we all are gathered here for a group therapy session . Guys meet the renowned psychiatrist Kang Taehyun . " Yeonjun said and Taehyun greeted everyone with a light smile and a quick bow . " So I think we should start with the session right . Taehyun will be the one who will perform the session today .
" Yeonjun suggested before handing over the mike to Taehyun who took in gingerly and blabbered , "Hi guys I was planning to perform this session a little differently . So for today I will ask you some questions and all of you can share your experiences or incidents related to it and maybe we could play some games later on ."
Cheers and claps erupted in the room and Taehyun chuckled heartily at the positive responses . " So first question , what is the most embarrassing incident of your life ? " Many hands raised pleading enthusiastically for getting picked up and there were many interesting incidents shared by patients , one of them being that a patient farted in front of her long time crush .
Lastly Huening Kai raised his hand without permission and blurted out , " Oh I have one , once I caught Yeonjun and Soobin hyung making out in the bathroom . I was so embarrassed that I freaked out and immediately ran away . " Loud giggles echoed in the room and Taehyun saw Yeonjun and Soobin faces turning redder and redder with each passing second and he scoffed at the pair .
Many more questions were asked and pleasant and awkward incidents were shared and before they called out the end the last question that was asked was , " Have you ever been in love ? " No Only one hand at the corner was raised and it belonged to Beomgyu who had'nt uttered a single word till now so Taehyun was stunned to see the boy coming up and somehow he seemed to be quite curious to know the answer too .
A small smile played on Beomgyu's lips before he took a deep breath and answered ," I am deeply in love with my Fairy . His existence had always been magical for me . He makes me smile and plays with me everyday . I first met him when I was 11 years old and second time it was in the institution and since then we are together . I love him "
Taehyun observed how Beomgyu eyes softened and glittered with a distinct spark . He seemed to be in before the said boy gazed at him and asked Taehyun suddenly ," Have you ever been in love ? " Taehyun gnawed at Beomgyu taken aback by the question . He could feel all the eyes on the room upon him as he stammered , " No ....I have never been in love with anyone . "
Their eyes lingered on each a little longer when Beomgyu sat down back on his seat . Next , they played truth and dare , everyone in the room has to choose one of the two options . Almost all of them chose truth no one having the guts to choose dare . Many naughty secrets were shared that night and crazy dares were done .
At last , it was Taehyun's turn who boldly declared that he will be choosing Dare . Huening Kai shrieked with joy and exclaimed , " Ok your dare is to hold Beomgyu's hand right now. " Taehyun gulped nervously and gazed behind at Beomgyu who was fidgeting uncomfortably on his seat .
Taehyun knew very well that the other did'nt like any form of skin ship so clearly declared , " Sorry but I won't do it. " He could hear some of the patients scowling and whining in protest but he paid them no heed ready to leave the room as the session was over . He unbolted the door and was about to sprint away when he felt a warm hand sneaking into his and lacing their fingers together . Taehyun snapped his head only to see Beomgyu whose cheeks were flushed a deep pink and was looking straight ahead.
Taehyun decided not the question the other and began walking with his patient following him closely behind . And what surprised Taehyun was when their hands were still enter-wined together even after they were metres away from the others . Only when they were facing Beomgyu's doorway did the other slipped his hand away and Taehyun didn't knew why but he missed the comforting warmth radiating from Beomgyu hand .
