Beomgyu's feet padded on the concrete pavement as he shuffled closer to Taehyun walking by his side and finally they arrived at Daegu Police Station . It was Taehyun's idea to meet the two officers who saved his love a long time ago and hopefully they might allow them to meet his mother too , he could only pray . Beomgyu eyes roamed fearfully around the station and no wonder they were receiving judging glances from the other officers but for not long because a loud squeal of delight sounded from somewhere behind them and before they both could even react , two strong arms engulfed both Beomgyu and Taehyun in a bone crushing hug and Beomgyu was sure he might suffocate to death . Taehyun shoved the man away exclaiming , " Jin hyung what the fuck ?"
Beomgyu gaze flickered to the dashing police officer ahead with wide shoulders to hug both of them at the same time and a bright smile decorated his glossy plump lips . Beomgyu wondered if he ever had seen the man before and he stroked his chin while thinking and then suddenly his eyes widened in a realisation and he blurted , " Oh I remember you , you are the same officer who rescued me from the house right . I still remember you kept telling me funny Dad jokes to cheer me up . " Jin instantly brightened up and clapped his hands in excitement and the whole station was practically staring at them but Jin never cared . At that moment , a deep husky voice interrupted their conservation and said , "Beomgyu I think you are the only one who finds his jokes funny . "
The three of them jerked their heads behind to look at Namjoon standing just behind them with a sly smirk plastered on his face . Beomgyu saw Taehyun scoffing beside him while Jin was scowling furiously at the another officer . After that Namjoon marched towards him , his smirk now replaced with a friendly smile as he stated , " Beomgyu its nice to see you again . I am the Chief of this department in case Taehyun forget to mention me which I am sure he does . " Taehyun rolled his eyes in the response but after that with a stoic expression he asked , " Namjoon actually we were here to meet her .......if you allow us to . "
Namjoon eyes softened immediately and he was about to say something before Jin chirped , " Oh sure why not . I will take Beomgyu there and till then you both can gossip . Taehyun youo did n't need to ask for Namjoon's permission , its not that he could ever dare to refuse me . " A bunch of giggles errupted in the station and Namjoon turned a deepest shape of red and briskly took Taehyun along with him to his office whereas on the other side Jin guided Beomgyu to Taehyun's mother's cell . Taehyun had already told him once that his mother was the real culprit for murdering his father and not him but he could believe him then but now when he gawked at the same woman standing behind the bars in the jailor's uniform , gazing back at him with her gorgeous soft brown eyes , warm tears rushed through his eyes and he came closer to her cell .
She had clutched two iron bars while glancing soflty at him and as soon as he was close enough , she cupped his cheeks and stroked his face lighlty as she rubbed away all the tears . Beomgyu saw her eyes glistening too but her beautiful smile was still plastered on her face .Beomgyu stared deep into her eyes and with a heavy voice asked , " Is it really true ...." It was n't required to explain her the question further because she nodded her head vehemnly and exclaimed ," Yes my boy , whatever Taehyun told him is completely true . You have never killed his father . It was me , it was me who had stabbed him almost ten times .
You were always innocent my darling . " A burden lifted from Beomgyu's chest on hearing those words but still he had million questions crossing his brain but he only asked one , " But why you chose to surrender yourself , you could have lived safely as you were living for previous twelve years ? " Beomgyu saw her lips curling at the statement with amusement playing in her eyes as she remarked , "It just so happens that we weren't given as much options .......if I would have an another choice for staying behind without any guilt and resentfullness in my heart , believe me I would have but karma is a bitch Beomgyu , what could I do. Now my only wish is that you and Taehyun live happily ever after "
Her eyes flickered behind Beomgyu and she smiled while looking at it . Beomgyu confusingly followed her gaze and found Taehyun glaring at both of them with glassy eyes and a smile ghosting on his lips . " Go to him ......he is waiting for you . " Taehyun's mother commented and Beomgyu gave her a last glance before darting towards Taehyun and embracing him in a tight hug . Taehyun caressed Beomgyu's silky locks gently while the other hid his face in the crook of Taehyun's neck inhaling his strong musky cologne . Namjoon who was gawking at the scene from afar wrapped his arm around Jin's waist bringing him close whereas the said man placed his head on Namjoon's shoulders . " Thanks for everthing Taehyun " Beomgyu whispered slowly , his voice muffling in Taehyun's collarbones . Taehyun decided not to respond rather than placing a feathery kiss on Beomgyu's temple and mumbling , " Let's go we are getting late . " Beomgyu's raven hair brushed against his face tickling the skin there as the boy nodded in affirmation .
