Grey clouds haunted the sky hiding the sun behind them just like Taehyun's mind which clouded by guilt and sadness . Three days , three days Yeonjun has said before Beomgyu will be gone forever away from him . He was imagining his fate to be ridiculing and teasing him like it always does , it brought him so close to Beomgyu only snatch him away . And he did n't had a choice " it was not a matter of 'if ' but a matter of how short it's gonna last ......before they were separated " . He knew very well that he will forever be summoned by the darkness if even after knowing everything he couldn't help Beomgyu , just like the past .
Like the past he will witness the boy drifting into misery but this time he was determined to not let than happen at any cost . It was raining that day , the water quenching the thirst of mother earth and Taehyun knew exactly where he will find the boy . He marched out of his cabin without acknowledging anyone who bowed and greeted them along the way . His stoic gaze was fixed ahead undeviated as he stepped in the rain and for the first time it did n't feel bad , maybe because his inner turmoil was way worst than some mere water drops. His gaze flickered around to find the person he was looking for standing in the middle of garden among the flowers but he surpassed their beauty easily .
Beomgyu's eyes were fluttered close as he raised his head towards the grey sky a beautiful smile ghosting his lips . Water dripped down his lashes falling on his smooth , rounded cheeks and descended down his sharp , defined chin finally colliding with the wet ground . His clothes were drenched in water completely and were sticking to his slender body but he could careless . Beomgyu looked ethereal and Taehyun was mesmerized by the sight completely forgetting his pain and distress for a minute as he made his way towards the boy . His eyes fell on the object in Beomgyu's arms , it was the blue umbrella that he had hugged to his heart .
Taehyun would have found it funny that Beomgyu was treating the umbrella like his favourite plushie rather than using it for what it is actually made for but not now when his attention was solely focused on the boy before him who slowly opened his eyes realising the presence of someone beside him . His eyebrows shooted to his hairline on recognising Taehyun and he fumbled with his umbrella for opening it but Taehyun held his wrist stoping Beomgyu from doing so . Beomgyu furrowed his eyebrows in confusion and commented , " I thought you hated rain . " " Not after I came to know you loved it . I can never hate what you love . " Taehyun retorded instantly and Beomgyu widened his eyes and his cheeks glistened in a faint pink blush before he averted his eyes from Taehyun and stuttered , " I think we should get inside otherwise I would catch cold . "
But Taehyun ignored the boy staring intently into his glinting silvery eyes andblurted , " What if I tell you all your dreams and hallucinations are real ? " Beomgyu froze at the spot on hearing the question but he relaxed after sometime smilingly exclaimed " Well it would mean that you are my Fairy . That's what my dreams says . " Taehyun eyes softened immediately and Beomgyu could spot hint of something hidden sparking in those soft hazel orbs as he scoffed and mumbled , " But it can't be true otherwise Monster will have to be real too . " Taehyun's body stiffened as he pondered something before he whispering , " What if I tell you Monster was real ? " Beomgyu shuddered when that sentence left from Taehyun's lips . His smile faded away and his angelic face lost its beautiful colour . Various scenarios and scenes ran through Beomgyu's mind and he wanted nothing more than to hide in his room and scream , scream till he loses his voice . The umbrella fell from his trembling hands as he clutched his head tightly , his fingers fisting tightly in his raven locks and shouted ,
" No ... Monster is not real . He was just a dream ...just a fucking hallucination of my crazy mind . He is a dream , he cannot be real . Never .... " Taehyun pressed his body closer to Beomgyu till there was not even hair breadth space left between them and cupped Beomgyu's face firmly as he stared deeply into his unsettling eyes . They were so close , so close that the tips of their noses touched and Beomgyu felt Taehyun's warm breath fanning over his face sending a jolt of electricity through his body . " Believe me Beomgyu everything was real , the Monster , Fairy Chocolate lady everything . Whatever you saw had already happened in your past and now destroying your present . We both have met way long before you can imagine and yes , I was your Fairy , the same Fairy that fucked up your whole life . And the nightmare you see everyday is real .
Monster hurted you , he hurted you badly and I never wanted to tell you this myself . You are not ill . I wished you could remember ieverything yourself but time isn't in our favour. You are being transferred to Busan in three days and this was my last chance . " As soon as Taehyun finished his rambling , Beomgyu felt his legs giving up . He felt like throwing up as his stomach churned violently and he felt bile rising up . He felt his world crashing down and breaking into small fragments he didn't had the capability to fix . Beomgyu's damp raven bangs were sticking to his forehead hiding his eyes but Taehyun could clearly see warm tears cascading down his face . He deliberately wanted to rub off all the tears from his beautiful face but he didn't got chance to do so because he was thrown to the wet and mushy ground by two strong hands that pushed him away with such a great force that Taehyun's felt as if all the air was knocked out of his lungs .
He crashed hardly , his arms scraping due to friction and he gazed ahead to find Beomgyu panicking while stammering some incoherent sentences . "Beomgyu ....." Taehyun called out for the boy but he had already sprinted away leaving a broken Taehyun and his blue umbrella behind . Taehyun sat there rain shooting on his head like a thousand bullets but he was unbothered . He let the water drops hide his own tears and he grabbed the umbrella from the ground and brought it closer to his chest . It smelt like Beomgyu , faint lavender scent could be detected from the object and it comforted Taehyun . He had a last plan but he was too scared to execute it . But when he promised that he will get Beomgyu out of here he wasn't lying , he will do whatever it takes even if Beomgyu hates him for that .
" Sorry for what I do next Beomgyu but I had no other option left ......I am sorry . " Taehyun whispered to no one in particular .
