Beomgyu saw it coming the time Taehyun announced that they will be leaving but Taehyun was n't prepared for the huge drama happening right now because Huening Kai was wrapped around his legs restricting all his movements wailing loudly whereas Soobin had him engulfed in a bone crushing hug and Beomgyu sweared the giant would have choked him to death . " No ......I will not let you go hyung . Why you want to leave ? Have I troubled or irritated you even a single time . " Beomgyu literally wanted to roll his eyes as there was not a single time when Kai had n't forced him to bang his hand against the wall or jump from a cliff .
Soobin was whimpering softly in his arms whining , " We will miss you so much . You will always be my best friend , make sure to visit us as frequently as possible . I know Taehyun will take good care of you ." An overwhelming warmth spread in Beomgyu's chest as he drifted his eyes to Taehyun who was witnessing the melodrama from a distance alongside Yeonjun . A shrill scream echoed in the room and Huening Kai leaped forward clutching Beomgyu tightly as he remarked , " You have to walk through my dead corpse before even daring to take Beomgyu hyung anywhere ." Yeonjun facepalmed defeatedly while Taehyun trugged towards them responding calmly , " That's not a problem . Soobin ....bring me a hammer . "
Kai gasped sharply and yanked Beomgyu away who would have collapsed with the floor if Taehyun wouldn't have caged him within his strong arms . Taehyun glared deadly at Kai who laughed sheepishly while saying , " Take him wherever you want . I don't care just spare my beautiful head . " Taehyun flashed him a sly smirk before gazing at the boy in his arms who was shooting daggers at Kai and mumbling , " You should spend the remaining time with your friends . Go .....and stroll around for the last time. " He smiled softly at Beomgyu before pecking his forehead lightly and urging him to go . What they missed was the horrified expressions on Huening Kai whose eyes were popped out on seeing them and he whispered to Beomgyu , " When did this happen .....I thought you didn't like the doctors . Well I didn't knew you were fucking one like Soobin . "
Soobin slapped a hand over Kai's mouth taking him outside the room with Beomgyu chuckling loudly and following them . . Yeonjun shook his head disapprovingly and made his way towards Taehyun who was checking their suitcases and luggage . " Hey Taehyunnie ....... I will miss you . " Taehyun couldn't stop his lips from curling upwards as he hugged his friend warmly who reciprocated the action . " I will miss you too hyung . " Taehyun sincerely replied . They have been friends way longer becoming doctors in their respective fields . They met in Seoul and that's how their friendship started . Taehyun trusted Yeonjun the most and treated him like his second family not that he actually has one .A comforting silence settled around them as Yeonjun backed away and placed both of his hands firmly over Taehyun's shoulder . " Remember the best way to erase bad memories is to replace them with good ones ........I hope you keep my words . "
Taehyun never believed Yeonjun to be a thoughtful guy so definitely he was taken away by the wise words but still he nodded his head with determination reflecting from his chocolaty eyes . He knew in which context did the older said those words as he replied ," I will shower Beomgyu with love and happiness , what he truly deserves . Don't worry . " They both walked out of the room after the conversation as it was almost the time to go but beforehand Taehyun had to meet someone . Yeonjun had informed him that the person who had been paying Beomgyu's fees will be arriving today to pay the last installment and right now they will be in the waiting area . He was quite interested to see who it will be a decided that Beomgyu should also see the unknown person who has been helping him since 12 years .
He spotted Beomgyu meeting some patients who were bidding him goodbye and he stomped towards him . Beomgyu brightened on seeing him and came rushing in his direction , halting just before him . Wordlessly Taehyun engulfed another's hand in his own and mumbled ," Come I want you too meet someone . " Beomgyu furrowed his brows in confusion but the smile did n't flatter and he hummed in approval . They both marched hand in hand towards the waiting area and received some curious glances from the passers by whom Beomgyu greeted warmly on the way but Taehyun being his usual self did n't bothered to even spare them a glance . Right now they were in front of the door and Taehyun felt nervousness brimming inside him for but regardless that he unbolted the door and his eyes landed on the person sitting before him .
He half - expected it to be a woman who was wearing a grey pencil skirt almost covering her knees and a white blouse . She had paired it with a mid waisted coat which matched the colour of her skirt and overall her style was quite elegant . She seemed old , approximately forty years or less but age never seemed to play a role in hiding her marvelous beauty . Her velvety blonde locks reached her shoulders highlighting her flawless face . She had a soft , tan complexion and large light brown eyes with big curly lashes adorning them . She had medium sized beautiful red lips and her a faint blush painted her rounded cheeks . Her eyes were crinkled joyfully and glittered as she noticed them coming and Taehyun knew those dazzling eyes too well . His breath hitched in his throat as he stood jammed on his place gnawing wide eyed at the woman standing ahead . His face grew paler with each passing second and he felt his eyes glistening with unshed tears . Memories of the past came rushing again but this time because of a different person . The only person apart from Beomgyu he had ever loved wholeheartedly .
" MOM ....." Taehyun stuttered .
2008 :
" Grandpa where is mommy ? " Little Taehyun asked peering through his curly eyelashes at his grandfather who paused instantly . " She ran away ..... " He mumbled but Taehyun couldn't understand what he meant so he let him continue which his grandpa did as he said , " That night she new what was coming , yet she left you alone to rot in that hell . But I don't blame her , anyone would do so . I don't know where she is , who knows if she had died due to starving or harsh weather . How far could she survive without any money ? " Taehyun shuddered at the thought of his mother's death and that was the last time they talked about her . He usually sees her pretty smiling face and melodious voice singing him a sweet lullaby in his dreams . But he somehow convinced himself that she will never return ..... never.
